That's absurd. If you're Pat Riley, you gotta throw in a clipboard and/or a lawn chair to make that even considerable.

Let me be the first to say if Bosh stays and we trade Cole and some other junk for Lowry, I will need to wear Trojans during our games, Lowry the starter with Shabazz backing him up, total **** fest .

He might be the first person who actually wants to stay in Milwaukee.

Eh it doesnt work that way. Teams miss obvious warning signs all the time. Not saying Napier will suck, just what I see.

Is Milwaukee still in the US or did we give that away to Canada yet?

I think SAS and Utah did tremendously well in round 1. I like what the Lakers and 76ers did going with the twin towers in Philly and the Zach Randolph clone (who plays D) in LAL. Im cool wit the Knicks pick as well.

Nice pick by NY..unless the scouting report the heat gave me was BS.

Btw, Heat trying to buy pick from Philly.

My guess is if kj mcdaniels (clemson) is available...

Heat had three meetings with him

Bill Simmons' schadenfreude as he learns that Miami pulled off the trade for Shabazz Napier after all:

There've been some gems in this draft for sure. Not even talking about the picks.

What if the scouting report on Napier that they gave Section126 really was what they thought of him but they don't care so long as they get LeBron's favorite player in the draft? Ray Allen seems to love him too.

As I said before the draft, Napier was the guy i hoped for. I see him as having the potential to develop into a Tony Parker type. I see some similarities in their game except that Napier is a better outside shooter while Parker is far better at finishing at the rim. But the rest of their game is similar. I don't see either guy as uber-athlethic or explosive. Neither guy is big or strong. They're both good but not great passers. They both have good to very good court vision, control the game and use great footwork. Napier needs to develop that floater in the lane. I think that will help him finish more and also open up the lay-ups more.

Not sure. Evidence is that Heat devoted too many resources to him.

Remember that i posted the report and doubted it soon thereafter...the smoke was thick.

I think the knicks took a heavily scouted heat target for second straight year....

I really liked drafting The Alphabet part 2 at 51. Giannis had a fine rookie season and now we nabbed his brother Thanasis who is basically a Tony Allen or Bruce Bowen type with better athleticism and higher offensive upside

The Raptors trade their draft pick and Lowry to the Heat for Norris Cole and some of Pat Riley's awesome hair.

Lebron's and Allen's BIQs are high; if they like this kid, I'm inclined to believe there's something to it. Plus Riley is exceptionally bad at choosing young talent. Horrible.

Points go to the players here. I hope they're right.
