    WWE news:

The Shield after this week will be splitting up. There won't be a formal break up but Reigns and Ambrose will simply go their seperate ways.

"Stardust" will be staying around for awhile.

The WWE will be replacing their old WWE logo with the logo they debuted with the WWE Network going forward after Summer Slam.

Say what you will about Vicki, but I think tonight was her send off as rumors were that she was on her way out for awhile. At least they let her get the last laugh and Stephanie did her best cartoon Vince impression.

That Barrett-Ziggler match was the bees knees

Vicki doing Eddies shake and kissing the sky gave me chills. Awesome moment. She was queen of getting heat, 2nd only to Stephanie. She kept Ziggler a heel even though he's so likable. And shes friggin Eddie Guerrero's wife......hope she has a great rest of her life. She was awesome.

Scott Keith had a brillant idea for Dallas, he really should have a submission finisher where he puts his opponent in the hold then yells at him "not to give up" until of course the wrestler taps out.

I think something like that would just add so much more to the character and could easily get a submission move over. Its the little things like that that are missing from wrestlers today whether they don't have the creative freedom or the writers just don't know the wrestling product well enough.

Barrett seperated his shoulder at the Smackdown tapings. No word how long he will be out for or if he will be able to wrestle at MiTB.

Poor guy can't catch a friggin break. He's one of these tweener heels where in wrestling kayfabe the fans are "supposed" to hate him.....but the fans love him. IE: Wyatt and Cesaro.....even throw in Brock....even though he's more of a wrestling anti-anything.....

He blows out his elbow, has this awesome BnB gimmick to keep him on TV....people love him....he comes back hot and wins the IC title....hes defending it in some good/great matches (Ziggler monday)....and he hurts his shoulder. Tough luck.

    Hopefully he's ok.

    I hope he's ok too.

But what you mentioned is another problem I have with wrestling in that there are few true heels left. Now wrestlers want to be "cool" heels to get cheers from the crowd, heck Triple H switches from a natural heel into a cool heel every other segment some nights, sometimes in the same promo. There has never been a successful long term tweener in wrestling. Heels shouldn't want to be cheered or act cool, their job is to get people to hate them. Heels don't even do the little things like grab the ropes during submissions or pins.

I get that there are certain fans that will cheer the Wyatts or Cesaro or BnB because there are good wrestlers but those guys don't really give the fans a reason to boo them outside of who they are wrestling.

WWE released a Summer Slam promo poster early (or it leaked) of Cena vs. Lesnar. Really MiTB shouldn't be a surprise and as annoying as it is to have Cena as champion again, this is the right move and the WWE's only real money match for SS this year.

The two MiTB matches, the tag team title match and women's title match were good, the rest was RAW filler matches if that but I guess that's what will happen when you have a combined 14 guys for 2 matches. Overall it was a solid/good PPV but nothing great. Some absolutely crazy bumps though. Loved the Ambrose/Rollins stuff.

Can't wait for RAW tonight to hear the new 15 time WWE champ speak!

    And we have to:

Like you said, it was predictable, still sad to see.

Panic panic panic "give cena the belt".....

Ambrose is over as **** right now. When he ran back into that ring I was marking out like crazy and the crowd sounded like Stone Cold or The Rock was running out. Great stuff.

I have zero issue with giving Cena the title there. I'd much rather have him hold the belt then get destroyed by Brock at SS, then hot shotting it to Reigns, Wyatt or Cesaro (who's apparently back in the dog house now, not because of something he did but because Vince once again isn't sold on him, maybe because he's been booked poorly since he joined up with Heyman) then have them drop the belt and be blamed by poor ratings and thus never getting a shot again.

Reigns is getting that rocket push, and it's obvious the plan is to have him beat Triple H at SS, win the 2015 Rumble and beat Brock at WM for the title. I'd much rather have them stick to that plan then to have do something for the sake of shock (like break up The Shield for example). Part of the problem with the titles that they aren't meaningful anymore is because they change hands so quickly when a talent wins it, especially for the first time, it's not special anymore so that's why giving Cena the belt at a throwaway PPV isn't a big deal.

Frankly it's the right move. The money match right now is Brock/Cena at SS. Nothing else is.

As far as Ambrose, I love the guy. He gets it and is truly over in the same way Reigns is. Both guys, if booked right will be break out stars. Obviously Ambrose isn't getting the push Reigns is on that silver platter but it's nice to see fresh new talent being given a shot.

And yes it still bugs me that they broke up The Shield for no reason other than low rating panic but at least it's giving Ambrose a time to shine. I like Rollins but I'm not sold that he'll be a big star like Ambrose and Reigns could be.

I am not sold on Rollins either. He will be a great in-ring worker for a long time, no doubt. But Reigns and Ambrose are poised to be huge, huge stars. I am talking face/face matches because they are THAT good. Exciting to see.

I always felt that Rollins would be the odd man out of The Shield simply because Reigns had the look of a superstar and Ambrose had that craziness to him that fans would love to cheer or boo (plus he had the in ring and mike skills). With that being said it was obviously the right choice to have Rollins be the one to turn just to be different so he wasn't lost in the mix. I'm really loving the Ambrose/Rollins feud because it's such a simple storyline of "Wrestler A turns on Wrestler B, so now Wrestler B hates Wrestler A and wants his revenge", and sadly when was the last time the WWE had a "blood feud" type storyline like that? It's so simple and easy to do yet instead it's poo poo pee pee Cena jokes. Plus it doesn't hurt that the feud is fresh, something new and fans are into.

Again I do fear once this storyline is over, even with the brief case since the WWE doesn't have the best track record with MiTB winners doing well in the long run, Rollins will be lost in mid card hell and end up being another Ziggler/Kingston type where the guy is a very good worker but will never go further up the card.

But seriously the WWE is really onto something with both Reigns and Ambrose. I'm really hoping they don't screw it up, although right now it looks like the only one that can screw up the Reigns push is Reigns himself, the WWE is fully in.

Yeah absolutely and you know those three matches will be good.

You can probably add Goldust/Stardust vs. The Usos for the WWE Tag titles and Bri Belle vs. Stephanie McMahon in there as well.

Just hoping the WWE comes up with something for Cesaro and The Wyatts as they seemingly don't have anything for them right now.

Summer Slam should be a good PPV.

The only thought right now is what the hell are they going to do for Battleground (which is a terrible PPV as almost all of them are outside of the Big 4)?

I'd probably have the main event be Cena vs. Orton vs. Reigns vs. Kane in a Four Way Elimination match for the WWE title, that's when you can have Reigns eliminate Kane first, then bring Triple H down to cost Reigns the next fall as he's trying to help Orton win the match. Then Reigns can help Cena to keep his heat or whatever.

Rollins vs. Ambrose that ends in a double DQ or count out to set up the SS match.

It's just again the undercard that's a mess right now as no one seems to have any direction or are in any feuds. What I'd actually do is turn Swagger and Colter faces and have them feud with Rusev, as it's an obvious fit. Plus it gaves Swagger a fresh look and this is coming from a non-Swagger fan.

A Little fantasy booking for RAW tonight:

John Cena comes out to cut a promo to celebrate winning the WWE title and Rusev comes in and challenges him to a match.

Cena accepts and proceeds to beat him inside of 15 seconds.

during the midcard, we have a Barrett v. Sheamus Title for Title match.....Cena cuts a promo..gets in the match ...beats both guys..walks away with both titles.

Next Up..Michael Cole announces that the Usos will defend their titles vs. a mystery opponent.

Match comes up..Usos in the ring..music hits...it's a mask wearing strong dude in cargo shorts and sketchers with lime green wrist bands. Mystery guy beats them within 2 minutes...takes off mask...it's JOHN CENA! Surprise!

The Ghost of Andre the Giant then comes to the ring and cuts a promo with Bobby Heenan in tow....Cena comes out in a Ghostbuster outfit..cuts promo..gets the 1,2,3 within 30 seconds.

CO-Main event time..and Paige is gonna defend vs. Nicky Bella....Nicky Bella has an injury from an unknown attacker..and all you see is her writhing in pain...

Paige doesn't have an opponent...so John Cena comes out and offers to do what's best for business...and offers a handicap/stipulation match. Paige defends her titles vs. him..but he has to have both arms tied behind his back and she can use an M60 machine gun, and a crateful of grenades. Cena gets the Attitude Adjustment for the 1,2,3 at about 3 minutes and 30 seconds.

    Big Main event time!

Cena will defend his newly won titles!

    Cena in the ring...

"King of Kings" hits..and HHH comes out..cuts promo to reveal John Cena's opponent...

HHH announces..we will have a special guest referee....

BOOM...glass breaks..it's Stone Cold out of retirement! Cena gets ready for it...but wait...

Stone Cold grabs the mic and says ..no..no...no...John! this is a fatal FIVE way match!

"Can you smell?..What the Rock is cooking?" THE ROCK comes out! Holly ****!

Next Opponent.......DONG....DONG...lights go out....OMG..the Undertaker is HERE!

Next opponent......Paul Heyman comes out and does his 21-1 gimmick...and announces Brock Lesnar to the ring....

Last opponent.....DARADAR DARAD DAT!.."Look in my eyes...what do you see?...The Cult of Personality..." OMG......the crowd..loses their ****. it is CM Punk!

Cena then gets the Attitude Adjustment on all four of his opponents at the same time...stands at the top of the heap of corpses..gets the 1,2,3.

Pretty good predictions this morning I'd say.

Please don't ask me if I'm really on the WWE writing staff because if I was would Kane really still be around anymore and be getting so much TV time?

First good RAW since the night after WM. I'm pretty excited to see how the Jericho/Wyatt story evolves and it will be good to see Wyatt get a few wins for a change. Jericho is apparently back until the September PPV so hopefully we get some matches with him and Cesaro and Rollins too before he leaves.

I also love the angle they are doing with Ambrose and Rollins right now and how Ambrose won't let Rollins cash in. Hopefully they don't drop that storyline once their feud is over with.

Best RAW in a long time. Friggin better than MITB honestly, if you don't include the awesome MITB ladder match (not the championship).

It is certainly something new and different and makes sense from a storyline and character perspective. Hopefully they let Swagger/Zeb get comfortable in that role and not just do the turn to have him get destroyed by Rusev.

The only bad thing about RAW was poor Cesaro and he hurt his eye during that match too.

Not sure of Swagger/Zeb are full on faces or not. To me, it seemed like the crowd was really cheering against Rusev more than cheering for Swagger, if that makes sense. Basically, you put Swagger against anyne else and he probably gets booed or a tepid response.

But as an admitted Swagger mark, I was happy to seem him get something to do.

True. Swagger didn't do the full on baby face turn so it all depends on who he's programed with next. Hopefully they book Swagger strong in this feud so many the fans will get behind him and give them a reason to (finally) care about him.

Yeah and also the in ring stuff too. Should be a good program all around, especially since Jericho likes to put over young talent he believes in, I wouldn't be surprised at all if Jericho specifically asked for this Wyatt feud to help him out.

That's why I'm hoping Jericho does a program with Cesaro and/or Rollins before he leaves. Jericho has stated many times how much he loves Cesaro so I wouldn't be shocked if he wrestled him at Night of Champions in September before he leaves.
