He is itching to return..but his contract negotiation is gonna be tricky.

Not like you can "entice" him, like you can Wade with more guaranteed money.

Bosh will either sacrifice actual real money....or it is gonna be a interesting negotiation.

    I got some REAL..Actual News.

This is either extreme posturing..or 100% truth.

The Miami Heat has no interest whatsoever in Shabazz Napier. They site poor measurables and inability to move his feet as drawbacks. His lack of wingspan, and slow feet, are a sign of things to come. Namely..very poor NBA defense.

The Miami Heat is enamored with several players, and have zeroed in on a few. One in particular has caught Pat Riley's eye, and there is a strong rumor that the Miami Heat have made a #26 draft promise and a 3 year contract lock for one particular player:

    Cleanthony Early

    http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Cleanthony-Early-65803/

Now..the last time I was given this type of information...it concerned the Heat making a draft promise to Reggie Jackson...and OKC took him right from under them. That let them scrambling for a PG and they ended up with Norris Cole.

Early's an older player who's a bit of a tweener, but he's proven to be a good scorer.

    Could be nice rotation player.

Around Wade and Bosh. We wouldn't be as bad off as you'd think. We could still have a chance to come out of the East if we added the right pieces. A lot would depend on the health of Wade but I think more offensive touches for Bosh in a system built to take advantage of his skill set would be very fun to watch.

It would obviously depend on what other moves we made.

The East isn't strong enough to call the odds long though so long as we have Wade/Bosh/Good Pieces.

If he leaves and is in the East then that team is the fav. Can't see any impending FAs good enough to get that Heat team past a Brooklyn or Chicago. IMO you would certainly need a long term plan.

I never said we would be the favorite I just said we would still have a chance.

I don't see Chicago going anywhere honestly. Brooklyn maybe. Depends how their old guys hold up.

I see what is in Barry Jackson's Sports Buzz as very likely. That is Lebron gets $20m, Wade and Bosh cuts to $15m ($60m over 4yrs). This leaves $6m for a 4th piece, a $2.7m mid level exception for a 5th piece and a $2.2m MLE for a 6th piece (Joel Anthony trade) then a bunch of minimums.

$6m considerations are Trevor Ariza, Marcin Gortat, Spencer Hawes, Channing Frye, Darren Collison, Kirk Hinrich, Patty Mills, Steve Blake, Josh McRoberts and Jordan Hill

$2.7m and $2.2m LME could go to Ray Allen, Birdman, Marvin Williams, Jordan Hamilton, Chris Kaman, Andray Blatche, Kris Humphries, Vince Carter, Shawn Marion, Jodie Meeks, Caron Butler or Emeka Okafor.

Lowry and Deng want more than $10m

Hmm, would like to know what the Heat/Riley think of Greg Odin moving forward, imo they need a low post scorer/rebounder who is consistent.

I do not mind Bosh, what he reminds me of is Bill Lambier, it is great when C can hit outside stuff, it also means he is more of a power forward w/o the power

There is a report out there that the Miami Heat are actively trying to move up to take Shabazz Napier.

Now that would fit with them taking a total dump on him when I asked about Napier....but...

He really does not fit their profile.

My guess is that they are putting out this smoke screen to entice somebody to give up a Veteran player in a trade up.

I was given waaaaay too much information on Cleanthony Early for that to be BS. It is being reported today that "Somebody" late in the first round made a draft promise to Early as of last week.

The Shabazz Napier stuff seems to come from Lebron James touting Napier earlier this year.

The "truth" is "somewhere" in there. I am calling BS on the Napier stuff.
