Too many triple-doubles for your taste? He kills it in the playoffs, too: 10 triple-doubles in 92 games. For reference he notches them at a higher rate than LeBron.

Beverly's a good defender, yea...but Rondo made first-team all defense twice, and second-team twice. He's also longer and a lot stronger, can defend 2guards even when they post him up. He's a better finisher inside for the same reasons.

Rondo doesn't fit with how the Rockets play, but he's definitely not fool's gold. He's a throwback ball-dominant PG who doesn't have a jumpshot so instead gets other guys easy looks. People have such a short memory with Rondo...or is it that Heat fans just can't stand him? Most of my Heat fan buddies hate his guts.

Why would Heat fans hate him? We wipe the floor with his team every time we meet. No reason to hate.

The fact is that he is a ball hog who disrupts the flow of the offense. He doesn't suck, but he isn't a guy I'd want on my team.

I don't disagree that he's overrated but he's still better then Patrick Beverly IMO

Pretty sure Craig ehlo predates the bad boy era so your conclusion would be wrong. Or he was right around the start if the bad boy era when physical play was allowed. Either way your wrong. The pistons were the ones who started the bad boy stuff and Craig ehlo freaking sucked.

That is fair enough. I think from a physical standpoint he is, but from all accounts he isn't the best teammate. So as an organization you need to balance that along with the talent when you decide which guy is better.

Rondo is a douche and always has been since he was at uk. That's how he ended up going late 1st and getting benched at times at UK. He's still a better player then Beverly

My friends just think he's a punk, like on a personal level. I suppose Wade did 'wipe the floor' with him when he dragged Rondo down and busted his elbow in that playoff series.

You claim he disrupts the offense...and yet the Celtics, with Rondo logging the most minutes of anyone, finished in the top 5 in FG% every year they were a legit contender.

I love Rondo's attitude. I hate how players are so buddy-buddy. Bev has some of that dog in him, so does Harden. I wish Dwight Howard would get some of that attitude. I actually saw some of it from Howard in our last playoff game. He was scary good. I think he woke up many fans during that last game. He showed why he's the best center in the nba when he gets serious. We saw post move after post move. Plus, he hit his free throws.

You have someone besides James Harden at a discount? Because Harden isn't the best SG in the game.

Riiiiiight. Let me guess...you'll say Wade. I'll then point out why Harden is better. You'll then ignore those stats like they don't exist. Come up with some defensive stats for Wade and talk about his past (as it matters to what happens right now). I'll laugh. And, the debate would never end.

Haven't we been here before. I literally had to argue against 4 heat fans on here for 2-3 months. The end results were pretty clear as to who was right.

I'm just going to say "agree to disagree".

I'm sorry but Harden is not what I'd call a dog. He doesn't scrap. He's a pretty boy actor and that's why he disappears in big spots. If he did scrap and fight on defense there wouldn't be YouTube clips 20 minutes long looking atrocious and lost on defense. He isn't tough. He's a decent enough offensive player to be a 3rd option.

True. I guess players' attitudes just don't bother me like it does some people. Hell, i loved Rodman back in the day. I thought he was great entertainment. Everyone thought he was a douche, too.

I could not disagree more. He had altercations with Kobe, Artest, Evan Turner, Jeremy Lin, and Wesley Matthews. Those are just off the top of my head. A fan also tried to sue him for punching him. There is plenty of scrap in The Beard. Scrap isn't just about playing defense. It's just an attitude. You know Harden is not to be f'd with.

Do you really want me to go back and post all of the bad things heat fans on this board said about Wade during the finals? I told you what would happen when you faced a legit team. Wade wouldn't be able to hide behind Lebron.

I tried to be as respectful as possible during the finals when it came to Wade. I thought about ripping him to shreds, but i let his own fans do it for me.

Getting in to confrontations doesn't make you tough or mean you have scrap. Scrap is about your compete level. It's about the will to win. James Harden does not have that at all. Scrap isn't about acting like a toolbag or Charles Barkley would have lead the world in scrap. Michael Jordan had scrap. Kobe had scrap. Wade had scrap. Those guys weren't afraid to dive for a lose ball, beast on d, drive their teammates to win just by hustling and effort. James Harden exemplifies scrap? No sir. The only scrap on Houston right now is Beverly

You just described a punk thug not someone with scrap.

Not saying Harden is a punk thug BTW. Just that from the description I'd likely say that.

If it makes you feel better, replace him with Jeff Hornacek or plenty of other players that wouldn't sniff the league, never mind prominent roles on contending teams.

    One more time...

One guy is a unanimous first ballot hofer and probably the third best SG of all-time.

The other guy has a nice beard

I told you that Lebron would carry the heat to the finals months ago. Would you like for me to re-post what i said? I also told you what would happen once you met a legit team. Wade would be exposed and wouldn't be able to hide behind Lebron's greatness. Are you really trying to tell me Wade held up his end of the bargain? You would be the only person on the planet to think so. I give you credit though, your homerism is the strongest i have ever come up against. If i didn't find it so funny, i'd probably admire it.

So houston sucks too? He sure kicked their ***.

    Dont be dumb.

So we only played a decent team when we reached the finals? Ok.

Well, we all know Harden would never be bad in the Finals.

Who are you referring to when you say 'He sure kicked their a**'? You lost me there. Are you talking Wade or Lebron? Because the last time I checked we were 1-1 heads up this season. So, who kicked our a** other than Aldridge, Lillard, and the refs?

And yes, San Antonio was the only legit team you played. I told you this much during the playoffs. The east is horrible. When the Rockets beat their top seed by damn near 40 points and the rest of the teams other than Miami wouldn't have even made the playoffs in the West, i have the right to say that.

Harden may have had a bad finals when he was 21. But, not as bad as Wade just looked. What was Wade's excuse? It was so sad that it wouldn't have even been fun for me to troll. I literally almost shed a tear watching him this past finals. It was that bad. I felt bad for him, just a little bit.

I couldn't agree more. Harden is awesome. Especially in those two games vs. Wade and vs. The beast that is Wes Matthews.

It was wade's fifth finals. I am sure Harden will have at least 4 awesome finals performances and at least one finals mvp with another one worthy of it to go with at least three rings when he is done

    Harden.

    Awesome.

Especially if you are a deep playoff team, champion or not the offseason moves so much faster when your games end later in the year.
