Omar just mentioned Michael Egnew "destroying" Jelani Jenkins on a block. Said it was "jaw dropping". Also noted a nice outside run by Orleans Darkwa. The second team DTs in the 11-on-11 period (in which Odrick is not participating) are Anthony Johnson and A.J. Francis. Isn't Francis that guy that became a favorite of everyone to make the roster, seemed like everyone was afraid to lose him?
I doubt Jenkins feels that way. I'm sure he was upset with himself after the play for letting it happen.
They took a chance (supposedly) and tried to sneak him onto the practice squad last year, but the Pats snapped him up. They of course then released him, and the Dolphins returned the favour.
Omar mentioned the outside linebackers "swapping" and once again I must remind myself that I barely trust anyone to know what positions the outside linebackers played a year ago during games let alone to tell me what positions they're manning right now. Ellerbe was mirroring the tight end though, according to Omar. So that's helpful.
You make Sick's point for him. Severely boring sports that people mostly only pretend to like or are tricked into caring about through advertising blitzes. One could make an argument for baseball though. But even baseball gets into a lull during this stretch.
They're insisting on calling Gator Hoskins by his real name "Harold". Blech. Guess he's in with the 2nd string but drew a holding penalty.
Omar not impressed with Walt Aikens footwork at corner, thinks he needs to move to safety. On the other hand Chris Perkins is impressed with how well Aikens moves for his size. I agree with Omar though, based on the tape I saw.
I wouldn't put much weight into what "teams" certain players are playing on. It seems like this staff likes to mix it up all over the place this time of year.
I thought it would be fine as long as I said who it was from, but if you think it's disrespectful, I won't do it.
Slightly quicker way to get the twitter feeds from the Sun Sentinel end. And here's the Herald - which is mostly just Beasley at the moment. Anyone any idea where Salguero is?
Brenner not getting it done as today's stand-in center. James Walker @JamesWalkerNFL 54s Another would-be sack on QB Ryan Tannehill. Good push up the middle w/Mike Pouncey not in there for team drills. #DolphinsMinicamp
Your opinion. The World Cup is the #1 world wide sporting event. Perhaps you could qualify your opinion by saying "American people" but I bet that is still not the case.
brent grimes on an interview with floria for profootball talk he singled out Aikens as being someone who has impressed him..
I won't claim to be aware of all the Dolphins writers or sources but personally I've found Salguero to be the best. Not sure why people don't like him.
Quick USA soccer story...it's growing exponentially..personally it's the only other team sport I have an affinity for a team. Im in redondo beach driving in traffic, listening to am radio and the match, when USA scored, the car next to me filled with four young dudes and myself started screaming, we all looked at each other and laughed, then cars everywhere started beeping their horns, there were folks everywhere with USA gear, flags, it was unbelievable..I'm totally hooked.
I'm liking what I see from Dallas Thomas at LG. No pads yet, but he's a totally different player. Just targeted Kovacs on 2nd level.
It's not that I feel it is disrespectful and certainly not malevolent in any way. But, A. I happen to know that the people in charge over there get real angry/touchy when they see thread content being copied and pasted elsewhere instead of just linked (which makes sense since when we post articles here we're always supposed to link and not copy/paste the text) B. I also know what it feels like to have posts you write for one website and set of people copied and pasted over to another website to a different set of people. It never really feels good. In general I try and adhere to providing links and either summaries authored by yourself or just quoting a part of it and leaving the rest to be read if you follow the link. And I think board posts should be treated the same as articles that way.
Dion Jordan, Jamar Taylor, and Dallas Thomas, those three players control our fate, if they can play well in their 2nd year, we might be pretty damn good.
They need to take soccer to the hood/country. You get a jitterbug like Tavon Austin, a Chad Johnson, and a Charles Johnson and then you are cooking with gas. Just have to show that its a way out to do for your family and start them young. It's catching on. Hell, I spent 100 dollars on a soccer jersey and volunteered to go kick the ball around a little with friends all while having a cellphone I need to replace. Even watched non-USA matches. If BSPN takes 50 percent of the Tom Brady/Yankees Coverage and dedicates it to soccer the US would be in much better shape. Dion Jordan on a soccer field at GOALIE? Yeesh.
that's what's left, young black and white great athletes taking to the sport early in their development and sticking with it..
They both think they're coaches, scouts, personnel people. Instead of reporting the news, its not black and white. They state an opinion (usually wrong)....and they use BS propaganda, or make up bullcrap to flip flop and prove their correctness. Also, Salgureo is a thief and a con-artist. So honestly, Kelly is not even as bad as him in my book.
They are both hit driven guys with no future. They like to stir the pot and revel in Dolphin misfortune. Plus Armando will never be forgiven for high five gate.
Meanwhile.. In New Jersey.. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...dson-doesnt-show-for-jets-mandatory-minicamp/
