The next two were about the AC and the refs, which you specifically stated.

"The refs cost us a shot at the game"
"The refs were so bad there should be an asterisk next to their title if they win"
"The fans shouldn't let the refs out of the building"

This is called crying about the refs. It's just such a bad look for Heat fans, who are almost as petulant as LeBron.

    YES.

and when shots start to go down...you start to take BAD SHOTS and they go down as well. The Karma in the game.

    it is what it is.

The Refs did balloon what should have been a 10 point deficit to 21 at the end of the first half.

But they STILL WOULD HAVE HAD A 10 point lead to BEGIN WITH! That was the best case scenario. Now does that make our comeback manageable and MUCH more doable? yes..but it does not matter.

The Heat did not deserve to win by ANY MEANS. Nobody does when you play like that. That was an embarrassing effort, and unbecoming of this team.

Heat fans have a persecution complex...and it is well deserved. They and the Team ARE persecuted.

Don't understand the "petulant" comment about Lebron.

Supposedly Coach Spo buried the team under a avalanche of Film today.

    That was probably really uncomfortable.

Read that as well. Bron said something along the lines of letting Spo chew them out, whether he was right or not, because he learned not to talk back to Spo during film sessions.

I don't agree. The Spurs were unconscious in that first half, but the Heat's defense was as bad as it gets. At one point in the 1st quarter my buddy texted me "don't worry, they won't shoot 86% all game". Of course that was true, but I replied, "no, but if the Heat defense continues to play this poorly, they'll shoot 60% and still crush us." Well, the Spurs shot 59.4% and crushed us.

They were making contested shots. They were just on fire. IMO the Spurs offense doesn't get the credit it deserves of you just say "the Heat played bad defense."

I don't think that's true. Their shot chart from the first quarter is pretty much all layups.

    https://twitter.com/Jpdabrams/status/476545659604983808/photo/1

Even at half they were pretty much all at the hoop or from three.

    http://cdn3.vox-cdn.com/assets/4595465/bdIE1Pu-1.png

And the Heat were 7 or 12 from three and shooting better there than San Antonio at one point, so it isn't like they just got hot there, either.

Every shot chart I can access shows San Antonio as barely shooting any jumpers:

    http://espn.go.com/nba/shotchart?gameId=400559376

Only way you could come up with the 10-11 number is if you were counting 3s. Unless you're on SportsVu and it shows something different. NBA.com shows them as having 5 jumpers (non-3s and out of paint) in the entire first half.

(Don't know how to add an image to show NBA.com's chart)

Like last year when we were down 2-1? Or how about our first title ever when we were down 2-0?

Its never time to panic. When we lose a game, ten minutes after we laugh about it because until the final buzzer sounds in the series and it is proven otherwise, we are the better team.

Of course their offense gets credit. At the same time though, we gave zero effort defensively.

it's like every time there is a single Heat loss, these haters crawl out of their holes and talk. A lot. It's ridiculous.

I'm not even talking about the board specifically, however, I have to laugh at Fin-o and others saying "oh you blame the refs and you blame this and that, but you never say the "other team was just better" "

I'm sure if I look through this thread in it's entirety, Every time one of their teams lost, i.e. the Knicks, the Nets, the Raptors, etc, I'm sure The ONLY thing you all had to say was "Man the other team is so much better and just outplayed us 100%"

Right. That's a perfectly normal response from every fan of every team in every sport. Yep. Heat fans are the only ones to EVER blame completely normal outside circumstances for a loss other than "z0mg the other team r4pes us so h4rd we sux"

Watching your teams fail every single year and wallow in irrelevance is starting to take an obvious toll.

I might admit straight defeat to any team other than the spurs. I've heard their fans blame last years loss on everything from steroids to refs to flopping. Yeah, complaining about flopping while wearing a ginobili jersey.

The refs did suck btw but I'm more pissed at the team than anything else. These guys need a chip on their shoulder which they should have now. I'm willing to bet they play aggressive and get the home win. **** the spurs.

Yeah man, if only my team was the NYK, then I could judge teams and fanbases of teams 10x better than mine.

Gotta love the no-logic non response to calling out the "omg u blame everyone else and dont give credit to the other team" that you bring up every other post.

The Spurs went multiple possessions without points. We got a fair amount of turnovers and as their shooting percentage started coming back to earth they missed a few shots. We got it down to 7 but turned the ball over, straight up bricked a couple jump shots and 3's, and committed some bad fouls. I can think of two Cole bricks, a Chalmers 3-brick, and two offensive fouls on James and Chalmers that, had we scored, the game would have been very different.

Melo stuff is everywhere now. Mannix, and others also running with it.

We don't really need this right now as you know LBJ et slate going to be asked about it.

Just focus for 3 more wins. Then we can go nuts with scenarios
