Your proving my point, these players aren't talking out of their asses...they are being honest about how little the "Heat" bothered them.

But no. They must be lying to be classy because what they said belittles the thousands of a heat fans excuse.

They dictated tempo, had a lead when Lebron left the first time, and were on the road.

I factor in circumstances not just score. Its possible to out play your oppenent and lose. In many ways its true what they say.....its a make or miss league. The whole game we created open shots and missed a few, the Spurs had to work for everything they got. Very few open looks were created until the very end.

You're free to disagree, its your right. In the end it doesn't matter what a ny of us think. The players have to step on the court and decide this series.

Its actually very simple...you're over thinking this.

The heat caused Lebron to cramp. When your best player leaves the game due to circumstances like this....it is a legitimate thing to be unhappy about. Even Spo said when you see your best player leave the game like that it is a punch in the gut to your entire team.

Noone is saying the Spurs did something wrong or don't deserve the win. We sre saying weather (lack of a better word here) circumstances you can't prepare for shouldn't decide a game played in a closed arena.

Heat fans didn't get cheated. Every fan of the NBA was cheated.

Also if Lebron doesn't go out and we win, if I were a Spurs fan I'd be equally unhappy. It killed their home court advantage early on because the crowd looked like a group of zombies.

The point isn't some great injustice against Miami. Its about playing a normal game of basketball on the biggest stage of them all. If this happens regular season against the 76ers....noone gives a crap. However the finals should be held to a higher standard.

Some take homerism to a level i have never witnessed. Like i said earlier, i call it like i see it. I can admit weaknesses about my favorite players and call them out when they have bad games. Since i jumped on this thread a few months back, i have yet to see one heat fan call out wade for having horrible games or taking 1/3 of the season off for precautions. It's hilarious. In the playoffs, this guy is averaging 18.7 ppg, 20.6 PER, 4.1 apg, 3.8 rpg, and 1.5 steals (yet averaging more minutes). These numbers are all worse than his regular season averages, which were only slightly above average, too.

If it was anyone on any other team, these people would be calling him out left and right. I would be the first to give props to the first heat fan on here to actually call it like it is. It would be a welcomed surprise.

You dodged the question. When is the last time we were outplayed in a crucial game or series?

We don't care about being outplayed in meaningless games. So why would we talk about it?

Wade has improved his numbers each and every round of the playoffs and was a monster vs. The Pacers.

Most of his "bad" (really didnt have many) games came in blow outs when Spo called the dogs off.

You quoting spectacular numbers to somehow make a point that he is playing bad is utterly ridiculous.

Btw, how were Harden's numbers this postseason? Last postseason? 2012 finals?

    Stop being absurd.

Btw..did he really say that wade's numbers were slightly above average this year?

So harden was slightly above average as well?

Well..the facts are they have lost one series in 4 years..so it is perfectly reasonable to suggest that it doesn't happen often.

Btw, i hope you werent referring to me. I clearly said the Spurs outplayed the Heat.

Heat fans...i command you to call out Wade for his play vs. The bobcats!

His legs are obviously dead. He would have thrown down a reverse one handed between the legs 360 dunk five years ago on that beautiful move inside game one.

Some people don't seem to get it that it is normal for players to underperform in the postseason as compared to their regular season averages. Competition is better..so naturally, numbers will be off.

Except..... that Two players on the Heat consistently out-perform their reg. season numbers in the playoffs. Lebron James...and...Dwyane Wade...and THAT is what makes both of them special.

The Heat were up by 2... TWO. I could care less how many sites you pull up with predications they were up by a massive 2 points with Lebron in the game. There is no way you can say it was highly likely they would win the game. The Heat are not that much better the the Spurs. They are not playing the Bobcats ;)

Even if you want to assume we only had a 55% chance of winning at that point (Bit over 50/50 with the lead) it dropped down to probably around 5% that we would win after he left. Again...not saying the Spurs didnt deserve to win. Just say that effectively ended any chance we had.

Its not a conspiracy. No-one did on purpose, but it was a sequence of events could shape the series that should not have happened. Obviously the Spurs players didn't do it and as I said before I thought it killed their home court and they deserved better as well. Also that if I was a fan I'd look for a refund.

My post was 100% in response to you suggesting players were just being classy for shrugging off the conditions. Nobody is arguing Lebron being out isn't huge, But the other players weren't lying IMO.

    Nope.

And I also never suggested anything about a series. I have seen playoff games where the Heat were outplayed crucial or not and the reasoning usually was something other than they played better than us. Last year vs the Bulls is a good example...we all know what they were missing yet a tipping of the hat was hard to come by.

My point is just that even if Lebron was the only player impacted it was still a huge impact on the game. That is all.
