I guess the debate is over..Dion Jordan is a 265 lb def end.

One of the reasons JT was brought in as a guest coach.

What is a long arm move anyway?

I hope JT teaches Jordan how to produce some sack fumbles. JT was legendary for that. He was so good at sacking and either stripping the ball or clubbing the QB's throwing arm. Jordan has great acceleration off his stance and he'll get to the QB but if he could create some turnovers he will be special. I think this is what I think the coach want him to focus on first.

I remember JT being an average run defender early in his career as teams would run at him but he quickly improved. I think JT can give Jordan some pointers on how to control the line of scrimmage, be more stout and play with better leverage. JT never played above 250 and had to use technique to be a better run defender.

That first play vs. the Packers is an example of it. Basically the defender gets his inside hand in the chest of the blocker, which maximizes his reach and causes the tackle to lean into the contact, then he uses his outside hand to club the tackles attempt to block. That was pretty well Taylor's signature move.

Jordan was a project when he was drafted. 248 was just too light for a guy with a 6'6" frame. He needed a lot of work with his hands, too. Hopefully we see a different Dion this year. Good to see that he's bulked up.
