LeBron isn't leaving. Everyday he wakes up as 2x NBA Champion, 2x NBA Finals MVP, 4x NBA MVP, 10x NBA All-Star, 7x NBA All-First Team, 2x NBA All-Second Team, 5x NBA All-Defensive First Team, Future Fist Ballot Hall of Famer LeBron James. He does this while playing with his two best friends, making 10's of millions in salary alone, all while playing in ****ing Miami. He has 8-10 years left in this league, no way he wants to play the majority of them removed from this situation. Would you?

He will be the best player on the planet wherever he plays, I just feel like he wants to take his legacy to another level and win a ring for that dump of a city we call Cleveland.

He may want to pursuade Ray Allen to come with him ofcourse. :shifty:

I think Lebron would have to be an idiot to leave. Nothing will strengthen his legacy more than a ton of titles and there's no place that gives him a better chance at that than Miami. I expect that Wade has recovered from the knee problems. That was exactly what the Ossotron treatment was supposed to do. That treatment is normally expected to take more than a year, often 2 years. The media seemed to act as if every rest was evidence of a set back or lack of recovery, but that wasn't the case. It was supposed to take a couple of seasons due to the lack of off-season. I see his performance this post-season as evidence of where he's at in his recovery. I don't see much basis for the contention that Wade will struggle with knee problems in the future. It may happen, but I don't think he's anymore prone to such problems than any other player. Wade is about 32 and I expect he'll play at a similar level for another year or two and then take a step back at that point.

Even if Wade were to have health issues, I still think it would be foolish for Lebron to bet on anyone other than Riley to provide the best opportunity for more titles. And Cleveland in particular makes no sense beyond it being a childhood home. After how badly the owner treated him on his exit and how little support the team was able to provide, Lebron would have to be a battered wife to want to return to that. At best, Cleveland can hope to get a Lebron return for some last hurrah at the end of his career. Lebron would be giving up any hope of being considered the best ever should he return to Cleveland at this point.

Honestly if Lebron does leave it wont be Cleveland imo. I think it could be wherever Melo ends up whether thats NY or elsewhere. If you remember way back to when Melo signed his extension with denver Lebron was upset because he didnt want him to because it threw off when they would hit FA together. I could see that as somewhat palatable. Do I think its likely? No not at all. 99% chance he stays.

Theres about 3 situations I could see him going....
    - Miami for obvious reasons. Reason he would leave: Wade's knees, Bosh being a wimp, Ray Allen wont be around forever to bail him out
    - NY because he would be a cult hero and his brand appeal would be even more off the charts. Only happens if Melo resigns and he trusts Phil to get a legit big like Love for Hardaway +. Maybe if Phil comes out of retirement to coach that could play in. Reason it wont happen: Dolan. Doesnt trust Phil in a new role. Too comfortable in Miami
    - Cleveland but only if they were able to first get a piece like Love to put in place. Why it wont happen: Its Cleveland. Who the heck goes there willingly?

Regarding this LeBron talk. He isn't leaving this year, no way. Year after or year after that? Who knows. But as of right now, he is isn't going anywhere.

I think many people underestimate his love for his city. They have Kyrie, Waiters, and a chance to draft a superstar....it's EXTREMELY plausible to assume his situation would be better in a Cleveland than anywhere else.

Again, no way in hell IMO he leaves for anywhere other than Cleveland. If I were a betting man I would set the bar at 35-65 Cleveland Miami. Which is a much better percentage than most think, call it a hunch.

All three of these reasons are hilariously wrong. Wade's knees are just fine, the maintenance program worked. Bosh is not a wimp, he has arguably sacrificed the most of any of the Big Three, and is still, as Spo referred to him in the first year, the "most important player" on the team. Ray Allen hitting a shot to get to a game 7 is not bailing anything out—LeBron had already won at that point, what bailing did he need?

Signs point to the Cavs hiring Vinny del Negro. No ****ing way LeBron leaves a 2x (possibly 3x) NBA Championship winning head coach to go play for ****ing del Negro. It's just not good for business. Do you think the LeBron app ever happens in Cleveland? This guy is making bank and has grown his brand to immense levels. He also has a virtual guarantee that as long as Pat Riley still operates this team, he's an automatic contender. Miami has the cap space after this season to remake this team into whatever it wants and Bosh and Wade probably get significantly less this go around which frees up more cap space.

I don't know..I'd rather play the game with Neutral refs and let the best team win. Crawrford or Brothers, I want no part of either one of them.

It is what it is. We won the other day with the ref assignment that is the single worst to the Heat. Now the Heat get an assignment where they have a winning percentage of .850.

I agree. People think we want all these phantom calls. I know I personally don't. I just want the calls right. You know the one where guys grab Lebron by the shoulders and pull down but aren't called because Lebron is a friggen ox. I want those calls yes.

I also want the calls against us that are legitimate. As fans we will ALWAYS be bias. Every single fan base is. At the end of the day though I want equal calls and the best team to win.

I love how all the heat haters predict Lebron leaving what seems like EVERY year, and then it's always great when he doesn't, and won't.

I'm sure they pray every night for it at this rate.

Shaq said DWade that he wont all his championships being the other guy lol. Never mind that he had the SINGLE GREATEST FINALS PERFORMANCE EVER, and let's forget the fact that Shaq wasn't even the best Center on the roster during that clinching game 6 in Dallas. Let's ignore that, never mind that Shaq had that 5 point game lol

    GG Shaq

    [edit]

Nevermind that there was a good chance that he would of been Finals MVP had Miami won in 2011.

0% chance he returns to Cleveland. Worst run franchise in the nba. Its like leaving your child with a baby sitter on the sex offender list.

If I were going to post something just to annoy the Heat faithful, I would predict he signs in NY.

Again, it's just a hunch I have due to who I feel LeBron is as a person. I've read a few physcology books.

I could actually see it impacting his legacy if he leaves and is unable to capture another title quickly. Now that means nothing if he can.

I love how in the Lebron to Cleveland theory everyone totally discounts the chance that Riley might be capable of reloading in surprising ways.

He has not opted out, nor has he announced an intention to opt out.

For all the free agency talk, he has yet to actually take the action needed to become one.

Okay I'm going to try and put as much bias aside as possible.

I definitely think this is a must win for Indiana to take home court back, and noone is winning a series against us down 3-1.

On our side, I feel like its a very important game but not a must win. I feel likewe can take another game in Indy but I dont think Indy can win three in a row even with two at home.

So if the Heat win IMO series is over. Book it. If Indiana wins I'd ut the odds more like 60/40 Miami.

I don't see why Bosh would go anywhere else. He makes money to win titles and not have to carry a team.

IMO Bosh is back unless we don't want him. So is Wade.

Lebron should be the only slight question. However you are right that its "possible". He does have the option after all.
