    Oh yeah, I remember that.

Funny how the "CHRIS BOCH SUX! WHY WE EVEN SIGN HIM?!!!!!111!!!!111!!!!!" talk died down REAL quick when that happened.

The Heat beat all those teams at full strength. Not sure what you're complaining about.

Are you going to complain that the Spurs got a break when Ibaka got injured? Would a theoretical Pacers win in the 2012 ECF be legitimate because they played half the series against a Bosh-less Heat?

Injuries happen. There are no asterisks.

This is just carelessness at this point.

Can't blame this on anyone but ourselves so far. Indiana isn't even playing extremely well like game one, we are just crapping ourselves atm.

Seriously, is there any All-Time GREAT team in ANY professional sport that gets counted out as easily and as often as this incarnation of the Heat?

In other news, apparently, James Ennis (Heat draft pick) is doing well for himself.

He's signed to a team in Puerto Rico, but before that, he was an all-star and a part of a championship team (Perth Wildcats) in Australia's NBL (National Basketball League. He was even named All-NBL first team.

Cole can be frustrating sometimes. He has incredible quickness and can get where he wants with the ball so easily when he is assertive. I just notice how sometimes he doesn't seem to make a good decision when driving with the ball. Also his defense is a huge asset at times and his shot has come along nicely.

Cole and Chalmers is a pretty good backcourt duo I think we take for granted sometimes because neither is a Chris Paul/Rondo/DRose at PG.

You have to imagine that there's a good chance that this is Chalmers last year here. He wants a substantial raise. I don't know if he'll get that elsewhere, but I doubt he'll get that $8-9 mill in Miami.

I think its possible he leaves. He isn't a Lebron/Wade/Bosh who makes tons of money on the side and not everyone is a Udonis who takes a career pay cut pretty much to stay in one place.

I wouldn't fault Rio if he took a financially better offer. Would miss him though.

Leaves after three straight titles? He would be stupid, and Lebron isn't stupid. I'm 100% confident he stays in Miami.

You are indeed the resident expert of egg on face. We'll take your word for it.

Rio has to weigh less money/better fit/annual championship contention against not getting yelled at/payday/losing record.

I don't think Rio fits on any other team as well as he does on the Heat.

Having egg on your face is normally when you speak matter of factly of something only to be proved wrong. Nice try though.

I think Rio leaves too. He's won championships and he wants money. Heat can't fit him anymore under the cap either. I like Cole a lot and he'll more than adequately replace Rio.

The Heat might try out a bunch of rookie PGs this off season to play off the bench.

Is that not what you did? That's why you're the expert.

Here's the question that the "LeBron is opting out and leaving" crowd never gets around to answering; where is he going? Which teams can afford him under their cap and can offer him immediate and indefinite contention status?

I keep seeing people speculate about the Clippers, because LeBron is friends with CP3. Well, OK, but why would LeBron want to go through the Western Conference playoff gauntlet every year? Currently, he only has to beat one Western team in the playoffs. Suddenly he's going to want to do that three times—and pay more in taxes in the process? Western teams also travel more, which I'm sure he would love.

He could leave. It's physically and contractually possible. Is it likely, or even probable? I don't see how. At least not this year.

    No, not at all.

I've made several posts explaining what I think may or may not play out, go fish those out.
