You got your one. Doubt you will be shooting 60% from the 3 next game.

Smh at this Portland/San Antonio series. My lord, it's like completely different refs.

66 free throw attempts in their first 2 games against Houston.
41 free throw attempts in their first 2 games against San Antonio.

Must be nice when the refs actually do what they're supposed to do. A jump shooting team with 66 free throw attempts in 2 games. Since when...

You dont beat ANYBODY when you allow 15-25 from three.

Extend the defense next game...and share the ball, that should be enough.

just make sure you go to gm 4... btw you really have a fixation on schlong size dont you? let's see it was the long dong of the heat and now its the small dong of the nets. well now i understand why you root for the heat

the weird thing i realized after gm 2 and continuing in gm 3 is that although dwill is shooting like **** from the outside he is killing you guys by driving, making you guys collapse around him and then firing off a pass for an open three. not sure how many assists he had in gm 2 on the threes but in gm 3, 9 threes were off DWill assists (5 to JJ, 2 to Mirza, 1 to Pierce). i think thats pierce and kg talking to him telling him when your shot aint dropping do the other things

it looked to me like spo decided to take deron out of the series and set up your defense to harrass him especially when he drove the lane the first three games. I think Section is right in that gm 4 you guys will play the three alot more and that should open up the lanes for DWill for the first time this series. I expect DWill to finally have a decent night by driving to the lane and getting alot of his points within 15 feet.

ahhh, the mythological turn on button. its amazing to me that not only the fans but even some media heads actually believe this. Actually I do hope they go away from the rest of the team and just feed lebron and wade. our whole game plan relies on containing those two (plus bosh) and by eliminating any scoring from the bench and your other starters. we like our chances of your three vs our eight

bet before last night you were sure we wouldnt be shooting 60% from the threes. now its down to doubt. It all depends on what defensive scheme you run with. If Section is right, and I believe he is, you guys will drift out towards the perimeter more which will open up thelanes for us and we will attack you in the paint so I dont think threes will be much of a factor in gm 4

Funny part is that despite Pierce's futile attempts to tackle him, Bron still made the shot. So your boy got raped. If anything, the picture accurately represents the series for the Nets and how this series is going :)

No, I didn't. However, without looking it up I am willing to bet that Nets didn't have shoot 60% from the 3 back to back all year. This HEAT has a knack for adjusting and doesn't usually shoot itself in the foot the same way twice.

Not so sure about that. I remember joe jesus hit 8 3 pointers in one period earlier this season and I know teletovich also had an unreal night where he was dropping bombs all night long. Think he had 5 or 6 in a row before he missed one.

Do you think miami is going to change their defense tonight to prevent the three more?

Edit. I see you said back to back. Probably not and I'm not expecting it tonight but I wouldn't be surprised if they have another night like that before the series is over

We've seen this dance before A la Gary Neal .

The other night was the exact outlier type game I expected when I called the Heat on a gentleman's sweep.

Saw a lot of stuff that isn't likely to be readily duplicatable for the Nets.

would be interested to hear whgat you don't think can be duplicated. The threes probably won't hir 60 percent but we can knock them down pretty well. There are times our oFfense will have 4 three point shooters on the floor. Mirza has been doing it all year long for us. Blatche? He can score 25 one gm and 3 the next. Same for thornton. What don't you think can be duplicated?

17 straight unanswered posts over the course of 2.5 hours after your first and more than likely only win of the series........... "Smell that rabbit?" "Fear"........ also. You said youll "shine" starting game 2, you didnt, so you reply with a picture of sunshine after winning game 3? Is that how you say you were wrong? It was your words. Man i got a laugh earlier when you said youd attack us in the paint and 3s wont be much of a factor next game. You honestly believe some of this stuff u say?

Both the 60 percent three point shooting (if you think this is. Sustainable number over a seven game series you are beyond deluded)

And also us missing the number of open shots we did. In the third the Heat missed every open shot we took and that's when the Nets created separation.

You are relying on the percentages going against the law of large numbers in order to win. In other words a losing strategy.

Ghames 2 through 6. The game was a possession game until six minutes. I didn't say we would win evry game I just said you would see the real nets team from gms 2 to 6 not that exhausted team you mos were happy about slaughtering gm 1. So you think miami is going to let us shoot thjrees again cause that's what your post implies

Don't know how you get that from my post. I claerly said they won't shoot like that every noight. The only thing coming close to that statement was they might, key word might, have one more night like that before the series ends. We missed open shots in gm 2. If we make those you guys lose gm 2. We'll see who's more consistent the rest of the series.

This is not directed at Adam at all but he can probably answer it. who exactly are the Nets fans?

Did people in Brooklyn just stop rooting for the Knicks?

I have to imagine that most people in Brooklyn were/are Knicks fans.

YOU DID NOT JUST DO THAT.

Your TV was broken for games 1 and 2?

In case it was these were the totals for games 1 and 2:

Heat Centers: 21 ppg on 50% FG (15-30) 12.0 rpg
Nets Centers: 4 ppg on 26% FG (4-15) 10.5 rpg

That didn't work out so good for you huh?

Laughinmg how you use gm 1 just like you use nov amnd dec in your stat comparisons. Gm 1 was a gimme like I told ya. You will not see that nets team for the rest of the series. Basically what we have is your centers outplayed us in gm 2 we outplayed you in game 3. But you were the one declaring we had "no hope" of ever winning that matchup. Well we just did. Your prediction was weak

most still are. For the nets to really make inroads tjhey jhave to beat the heat. Theu do that you will see a lot of 8 to 18 year olds switch allegiance. They will never get the 30 year olds or 40 year olds. Their allegiance will never change. But become the exciting new york team and you can get the young. Right now the nets fans are old nets fan from the jersey days and peple who didn't like the knicks
If they can dominate the knicks for the next ten years they will have an entire generation that becomes nets fans thoiugh. This is a big series for them in terms of growimng their fan base

and yes..you have NO HOPE at winning that matchup. We have a hall of famer in his prime in that spot..you have a hall of famer in his coffin.

    I think they're all Jay-Z fans.

NYers are probably dumb enough to believe they're going to a Jay-Z concert on the cheap every night, and end up at a basketball game instead. Every time.

It sure as hell ain't the real Nets fans (the one's that have to cross the Hudson now).

use the outlier all you want if it makes you happy. Use nov and dec stats if it brings a smile to your face. I told you in january you would never see that nov dec team again so why would you use those stats. Using stats to gauge a team you have to filter out meaningless stats that don't represent the team you are analyzing. Game 1 was us coming off a 7 gm series with you ciming off a 4 gm series. Additionally we didn't even get a practice in before that gm as kidd hgave the team monday off. So why would you use the stats of a team you will not see the rest of the series. That game was an otlier, an anomoly. It has nothing to do with the team you are facing now. And as a ghambler you should know better. Using nov dec stats will cause you to underestiomate the tea. Using gm 1 stats will cause you to underestikate vthe nets overestimate the heAt in theb series. You want to figure out who will win, then look at gm 2 and 3. If you feel good about your team then look at gm 1 but your simply looking at a well rested team vs an exhausted team. You wnot see them again unless this series goes 7 and then maybe you will. But you won't see them through gm 2-6
