Sad to report my Aunt Lori passed away yesterday at 2:00 am. She had her husband sleeping by her side and my mom and grandma in the room. She leaves behind her 17 year old daughter Rebecca, 20 year old son, David, her husband John, my mother (her older sister) and 3 nephews and 1 niece. We loved her very much. This is very tough. Going to try to make the service the end of this week, however it's in Sandusky Ohio, so it might be impossible for me. I start my new promoted position tomorrow.....just lots of emotions.

Thanks everyone, **** you Mclovin Lucky I always try to stay positive and love life. It's too short. I like having fun, I hate feeling "down". I just try to be full of life anytime possible, regardless of circumstance.....but sometimes....**** its tough bro.
Sick, just to put some positive spin on this saddening event; anytime after you go visit your Aunt's grave you can try and visit Cedar Point to re-affirm the joy of being alive. Sorry for your loss.
Love cedar point, and she would love that I did that anytime I visited. On a side note, **** bereavement laws consider a direct blood aunt the same as a "friend" dying.....as they only give 1 day of paid bereavement for it. Direct relative (mother/father, son/daughter, brother/sister) is 5 days. Grand parent or in-laws = 3 days. I think that's crazy honestly, that a brother in-law garners 3 days and a Aunt or Uncle you've known your entire life is 1 day.
I can use PTO, however I don't have much and need to pocket some for my son in case he is ever sick, and for vacation that's paid for already in November.
I have problems too. I am doing a stand-up gig tomorrow and found out that I am the ONLY white guy on the lineup. Nothing but black comics and me. Which means I either have to eliminate the N word from my act, or make it the entire act.

I found myself in Downtown Denver...and spending entirely too much money at uhm...certain establishments. And then spending MORE money on a hot dog from some guy who I am pretty sure wasn't a hot dog vendor as much as he was a homeless guy who mugged a hot dog vendor.
I got to tour Coors Field...while drinking whiskey and wearing Dodgers gear. I peed in a urinal that Troy Tulowitzki pees in. I felt...complete.
