Heat are 1-5 in games I went to this season.. I'm almost tempted to get rid of my tickets for the 2 games in Brooklyn.

The Nets have one clear position advantage - PG.

The Nets PG finished with no points six assists and two turnovers. That's a problemo.

The Nets don't have enough offense to make noise in this series. Ain't gonna beat the Heat scoring 85 a game.

Im an Oden fan. Always have been. I always said you cant teach height and the best thing you have is a big who is great and thats worth the gamble every time imo. Its cool that Oden is so humbled by his experiences and is smart enough to realize its not his fault that his body let him down. Good for him. If he wasnt a Heat id like him more

I'm not even sure that PG is a clear advantage. Williams is a better scorer, but he also has some clear weaknesses. The only game the Nets have a chance of winning is one where they shoot lights out and Miami struggles to finish all those paint opportunities they get. It may happen. Pierce gets in zones like that occasionally and Johnson and Thornton are good scorers. But over a series, you're right, the Nets just don't have enough offense.

nah 1-1 wouldve been right where we want you. 1-2 will do the trick though. like i said before the gm, i just wanted to see a close gm tonight. it came down to six minutes and then you guys got hot, we got cold. thats fine. what the team needed to do tonight was remember that they can beat you and i think every net realizes that after tonight's game. now we go home with purpose and if they have any backbone, they will sweep your *** in brooklyn and we go into a three gm series. if you take one of two in brooklyn, you'll win the series. we have to take both. confident they will

bosh could score thirty from outside, it would play to our advantage. the only centers that give us trouble and that is due to the disruption of our defensive schemes, are big powerful inside centers. bosh shooting threes is fine. its what we want. the only center we have who can score is blatche. and he is good blatche, bad blatche depending on the day. very inconsistent. what we need from our trio is inside defense and boards, thats it. your centers like to play outside which is good by us

Our centers playing outside (Bird doesn't, Bosh does, till he doesn't and beats you on rolls to the basket) stretches your rim protectors out, and allows our parade to your basket.

    Basketball 101.

So no. It doesn't help you. It kills you.

Oh and if Bosh scores 30 in any game (we don't ask him to score)...we beat you by 40.

Hey remember when deron Williams was the 2nd best pg in the league after cp3? Now? Paul, Rondo, Parker, Westbrook, Lillard, Lawson, Conley, Lowry, Curry, Kyrie, Rose, Wall, Teague....all pg's I'd want over his overweight, overrated, 0-9, overpaid scrubby ***. He's been watching too much of fatty felton

At least rose is good when he's on the court. I think I left Goran Dragic off my list though. Deron has become just another PG.

Bosh is the one really killing the Nets. Great series for him. That sequence where he blocked a shot in the lane and then ran down the court and drilled a triple on the break was a back breaker.

A quote from Greg Cote that I agree fully with,

"The Oklahoma City Thunder and Los Angeles Clippers are the only two teams that can run with Miami. Otherwise you must beat Miami with size, and the Nets are bereft."

Problem is, Miami can beat the Thunder and Clippers. Just because they can run with the Heat doesn't mean they can win.

That's not what he's saying. He's saying the only teams that can use it as an effective strategy are the Clips and Thunder.

In other words there are two strategies for the Heat. Run on them or beat them with size. Brooklyn can do neither.

San Antonio is the only team remaining that truly scares me and a Finals rematch with them would be a coin flip, especially without home court.

After the Heat, the Clips have been my favorite team to watch this year. So that would probably be my favorite finals match-up. However, I believe that OKC is the match-up that most favors the Heat. And like everybody else, San Antonio is the only team that scares me.

Well then that seems to me like you have a pretty myopic view.

I heavily favor the Heat over both these teams in a series but the idea that they can't use the fast break to mitigate the Heat's great half court defense strikes me as either overconfidence or misunderstanding.

Time for 3-0 tonight. I actually think Brooklyn leads most of the game but Miami dominates the 4th quarter late.
