The point is that they don't play like it. At all. Your guys look a year away from Shuffleboard.

    kevin garnett had 12 pts/ 11 rebounds/ 1 block/ 2 assists in 25 minutes

and paul pierce won the game and more importantly the series on a block of a supposed young kid

That is some bad *** shuffleboard

    also

Despite the sixth seed, Brooklyn was the second-best team in the East in 2014 with a .667 winning percentage, better than Miami's .588.

    http://www.usatoday.com/story/sport...heat-vs-brooklyn-nets-series-preview/8698227/

Lebron is 13-12 vs Pierce in the playoffs

Need to have Pierce retire with a winning legacy against Lebron

oh yeah and ray allen and dwayne wade are the epitomy of spry athleticism and youthful vigor

You were pretty bad at picking games. 11 games off isn't good.

    Rd2

    Miami over Brooklyn in 5

Pacers over Wizards in 6 (refs found their groove)

    SA over Portland in 7

    OKC over Clippers in 6

I wanted to pick a couple upsets, but had to keep it vanilla. Usual suspects in final four.

I rarely ever contribute to this thread and just read it daily, but I have to say im pretty surprised at the cockyness of some Brooklyn fans Both on the board here and at work, especially during the last few minutes of that series yesterday. You were 1 more layup and 5 seconds away from losing game 7 to a team that has never won a 7 game series....i thought some of them were going to **** in their pants on that force-out on brooklyn in midair. I literally and I mean literally cannot wait to watch Grandpa Wade lay the pipe on this team and show how much good those 'regular season numbers' do for them.

Lebron is 8-4 in the playoffs vs. Pierce w/ the Heat and you are not getting the Pierce that took those 4.

I HOPE you are not insinuating that Dwyane Wade is not a great athlete anymore, because that will reveal you to be just another clueless nets bandwaggoner.

And btw..Ray Allen..still a better athlete than either of your two boston corpses.

Btw guys, some of you are missing out on the best part. The real reward of this series is the flow of trash talk we are about to witness between Sec and Adamprez.

Whether the crowing from Sec after the Heat take the series is a plus or minus depends on which side of the Heat fence you are on.

For there to be real trash talk, it has to come from a team that is near your level. Indy can talk..barely..and okc and the spurs can as well. BK is an average team. If they take 2 games they should pop champagne.

This is another gentlemens sweep. 4-1.

I was talking about the trash talk about to flow between yourself and Adam.

    Checks the series prices.......

Yep, you picked 7 favorites and 1 underdog. (1 underdog was Portland)

I am sure Millions of people picked all 8 series correctly.

First year watching the NBA? It's a chalky league. Favorites win....A LOT.

I'll take him seriously when he wants to bet real money on the outcome of the series. Not Vegas odds, not how many games.

Man up and make a straight bet of who WINS the series...or stop trash talking.

Btw. Before me and sect go through our week longf back and forth I will give him props. He is the only heatles fan here who WANTED to play brooklyn. He's the only one who had the confidence in your team to want the matchup. The rest of you wanted to get the easier matchup toronto but not sect. He wanted revenge for the regular season and to shut us up in the playoffs. I respect that

Most of us didn't care who we played because neither of you were a threat. I only wanted the Nets to lose because I hate Kidd with passion.

Basically you're saying we wanted to be bitten by a kitten with no teeth instead of a puppy with no teeth.

    ^^^this.

I thought the Raps/Nets series would be close and was more intrigued by it than who we would match up against. The only two teams I am actively rooting against are the Pacers (because I pretty much hate them) and the Spurs (cause I think they are scarey.)

Im literally dumbfounded that you just told someone else they are embarassing themself and then you go and say something like this. I can probably speak for everyone when i say that we didnt need/want toronto to win because itd be 'easier', its more that it would have been ****ing hilarious if TORONTO knocked you out of the first round. Also for that matter, how can you even tell who the EASIER team would have been when it game down to the final 5 seconds in GAME 7 for you both? LOL. Oh right..... regular season...

This got me too thinking, what odds what I need to actually put up a dime that NJ somehow would win the series. Without knowing the series price I couldn't see myself doing that with anything less than a 20k return. Now for a $100 I may do it for a $1500 return, that's about it.

    Pffft

You see it how you wanna :)

In about a week your old men can rest and decide if they're ready to retire while we prep for the ECF.

Seriously we've spent the last two seasons prepping for wars in the finals against teams like the Thunder and Spurs and you think were in fear of a Nets team that definitely showed their age for a lot of the first round? Or are you just trollin'?

I would have preferred Toronto b/c I'd have been happy for their fans to win a game 7 at their place and I wanted to see the Bosh returning for a big playoff series for them dynamic. But I don't see Brooklyn as a threat. My guess is Miami in 5. I wouldn't call that having a great deal of fear. Mostly I just don't care for Garnett and Pierce. They were very good players once. Now I see them as good players once in a while. But I always thought they were obnoxious.

I just find it hilarious that Adam was on hiatus for 4 days and is now out of the woodwork crowing after his team survived a buzzer beater.

Take him to the cleaners, Sec.

I know he's playing for that good contract, but if we could somehow get Ariza in Miami, that would be amazing. Guaranteed sixth man of the year although he wants to start. A PG is probably our top priority though. Then a shooter or defensive specialist. Cole isn't ready for the big time (doubt he ever will be) and Birdman has another year with us so we won't be scrambling for a big man. I think Oden comes back too. Haslem...he's up in the air to me but I just don't see him leaving Miami.

Getting ahead of myself, I know.
