    They won't answer your question.

    It doesn't fit the agenda that it was all Ireland's fault.

    Assuming you are correct and there is enough talent on the team to win games "when coached well". And that the only reason we lost the last two games was because Philbin decided to just let things happen rather than coach well because they wanted Ireland gone. So now that we got rid of Ireland there is no reason for Philbin and his crew not to coach well so we should be in for a winning season this year.

    I don't think it's flawed at all.

    You don't beat the Pats, Chargers, Steelers, Colts, etc and lose to the Bucs, Bills x 2, Jets etc bc of talent. The problem w last year's team was clearly consistency IMO. 3-0 then 0-4. 5-2 then two of those worst performances of the season vs two of the worst teams on the schedule to end the season. The team handled prosperity very poorly, again, not a talent issue.

    You talk bad contracts but that's the nature of FA, especially for the top players. I'm not a big Albert fan but for a pass happy coach like Philbin and a developing QB in RT he will neutralize top pass rushers and allow for an expansion of the ways we can attack coverages. And it's not like Albert's deal was exorbitant, he got why the market dictated and LT is not a good spot to pinch pennies IMO.

    The argument that cap space is useless when the contract you're touting is primarily possible because the team has consistently carried over cap space from previous years is absolutely flawed.

    LMAO. Okay, every post so far i've seen in the last few pages has been arguing for the sake or arguing or pure semantics, But this is too much

    The worst O-line in the entire league, the most sacked QB in dolphins history (almost NFL history) and your idea of solving this problem is to "start a below-average LT" because "successful teams do it" (no) and retrospectively because of the contract Albert got. Oh my goodness, you use the term "overpaying" as if it's fact, when its not. You think "other successful teams" wouldn't have paid around that for Albert if they had the season we had? You are living in PURE FANTASY. We basically paid the market value for the guy AS WAS projected by everyone who knows more than me AND you. Calling it "overspending" or exaggerating like you are is a reach at best. Do you just never want to sign free agents? Because your posts seem that way. Or do you just prefer signing bench players for pennies on the dollar that have a 10-30% chance of contributing IF they even break the starting lineup? The guy has proven to be a somewhat top of the line talent (at least when he's on the field.) There is a specific reason you and only you have this line of thinking, and it's not because you're right.

    tldr;
    You have one of the biggest glaring holes on your roster (or practically on any roster in the whole league) you don't just "get anyone" and call it fixed. Sorry. No "successful" team "does that". Please, Show me a team with o-line problems even HALF as bad as ours that signed and started a random "below average" LT and called the problem solved. puh-leaze. If you aren't possessed by the spirit of Shouright, I would like your dealers number please.
