Pretty sure Harden has the defensive awareness of a pineapple.

 

total domination by wade....that 30 that harden dropped on him meant absolutely nothing. wade is clearly the superior defender even though harden held him to 24. we wont look at that though...wade is beyond numbers. superior defender.

This guy actually thinks Harden played a good defensive game!

Harden didn't hold him to anything. First of all, McHale hides Harden a lot because he is terrible defensviely, but if all he did was guard Wade...Wade still SHOT 67% against him. All that tells me is that if he wanted to, he could have scored 60 on Harden if he wanted to take enough shots.

One day..I am going to sit there with a calculator and show you how 30 pts on 43% shooting is rather crappy and that 24 on 67% shooting is MUCH BETTER. Wade even had more FG's, assists, Blocks, Steals, same Rebs, less PF's, better +/-, Better Def. and Off. Rating, Better Synergy numbers, better winscore, higher WP, Higher PER, etc.....HEY..But Harden had more FREE THROWS! CONGRATULATIONS!

Just admit it. Stop being so prideful. ONE Day Harden will be better..but that day is not yet..and that day is not even close.

 

Truth be told..Wade for both of those.

Dwyane Wade in 11 seasons...has 36.9 Defensive Win Shares....

James Harden in 5 seasons, has 11.4.

If Dwyane Wade retired today..it would take James Harden playing at his current level, (allowing for the natural regression of 15% per season past 30 years of age) 14 more years to match him.

So Harden would have to play 19 Seasons to match Wade's defensive productivity in 11. Nice.

 

That's an insult to pineapples.

Did you guys remember that sequence where Harden was guarding Lebron, and Lebron dribbled around him twice and got past him twice only to test Howard, and on the second time..he just passed to a wide open Bosh for the 19 ft. J? It was giggle worthy.

 

Well honestly Ive found other teams treat us generally better when we don't talk crap. I know we will be in the finals at least, so at the end of the day....my proof is in the pudding.

its all good. i like talking sh*t. what can i say, other than lebron is the truth. he's my favorite player, so it is what it is. good win. we saw the heat bring their A-game yesterday, and it let me know where my rockets measure up. we're right there. if parsons does anything, we're having another conversation. he's looked like crap for a month straight. harden got his regular 30 against an inferior sg (like i said he would), and howard did what he usually does. lebron is the man when its all said and done.

 

wade just gave up 30. that is all.

 

I'm actually not **** talking....he did score 30 but on a ton of shots. He was really inefficient. Most above average offensive players can score 30 if they jack up enough shots.

I like Harden but he needs to work on his shot selection. Inefficiency is probably the main reason you guys didn't pull it out.

 

Ill take my guy giving up 30 on less than 50% shooting over 24 on over 60% shooting every day.

That would only be true if Wade guarded Harden on all of his scores regardless.

 

wasnt referring to you talking sh*t, i was talking about the other guy. anyway, harden has to take alot of shots, just like wade used to. everyone cant play with lebron and expect 30 points a night from a teammate. also, we doubled lebron all game and left either bosh or wade open. the rockets respect lebron as they should. the next best scorer on the rockets is howard and he's only giving us 18 per night (should be 25 if he ever learns to shoot fts). harden's man never leaves him to double a teammate, because there was no need. harden had to hit 3s and jumpers while both lebron and wade were checking him straight up. 30 pts on 16 attempts, i'll take that all day against lebron and wade straight up.

 

when wade didnt, lebron did. he dropped 30 on your top guys. how many other sgs in the nba can make that claim?

 

Dude. He HAD A Horrible game. 43% on FG's. He made 11 of 12 FT's. He contributed NOTHING else. No defense, no rebounding, no assists.

At least know what you are talking about. You are embarrassing yourself.

 

You are aware, that Spo used Cole and Chalmers to guard Harden for the bulk of the time, to play passing lanes with Wade and Bron...right?

and sure enough...check his assist numbers.

 

The Heat gave up 30. on 43% shooting to the 2nd best SG in the NBA. Pretty good I would say.

Harden did not score with Wade guarding him. In fact, the bulk of his points came from transition pull-up threes and free throws.

As a matter of fact, one distinct time I remember Wade block a Harden 1 on 1 drive only to get called for a bogus foul.

Chalmers, Allen and Douglas did the bulk of the guarding on Harden. He did score a couple of fieldgoals on Lebron.

 

30 is a horrible game...new math? yea, and of course we shouldnt count free throws when it comes to james harden. thats cute.

 

in one sentence, you say wade didnt guard him. in the very next sentence, you said he was and fouled harden. which is it? wade was on him most of the game and lebron was on him some too. chalmers a few times, but he's irrelevant. he hit the step back 3 on lebron and did whatever he wanted on wade. also, if we're going to talk about bogus calls, hardens first two fouls were against air. he never touched lebron or birdman. lebron ran over beverly twice and no whistles were blown. dont get me started on bogus calls.

Yes. A 30 point game is a bad game if it comes at the expense of inefficient shooting and very poor defense. I know these mathematical concepts blow your mind...but try to learn what efficiency means.

 

Reading comprehension fail much? I said Harden did not score with Wade guarding him. As in did not make a field goal. As in the only points he got were from a bogus foul call that was actually a block. Your narrative says otherwise, but reality is Harden did not score on Wade.

Also, it is rich that a Harden fan wants to complain about foul calls. Your boy supports his scoring average basically on bogus foul calls, because god knows it isn't on efficient shooting..
