Wade is getting a bad rap.

People don't realize there is actually nothing wrong with his body and he's playing the best he ever has. Everyone wants to whine about how he doesn't do crazy athletic moves anymore. Why would he? He doesn't need to because he's become a more complete player.

I do agree that by 2016 Wade won't be as good as Wade right now in all likelyhood but he will still be a top 7 SG.

Plus you need to wait and see who we add and what discount our core takes.

Riley isn't good, he's great. And I'm sure he would take James Harden to play the 2 over Wade.

 

I am sure he wouldn't...since Riley likes Defense...and Wade still has better Eff. Numbers than Harden.

never forget that Harden's claim to fame so far is getting DESTROYED By Wade in 5 games in the Finals.

 

BTW..Wade is now only .25 away (that is one good game away) from taking the lead for his 6th consecutive PER championship at SG. Only two players in NBA History with a longer streak at one position? Michael Jordan...and Lebron James.

Only reason would be age if that were an option. Harden might be the most overrated player in the NBA IMO. Not saying he isn't great, but he's a volume scorer who doesn't play defense and has trouble with disciplined perimeter defenders.

woah...woah. where is this harden bashing coming from? he's the best sg in the game and its not close. wade plays once every 3 games. a gm or coach would have to be just stupid to take wade over harden right now. he's only 24 and one of the top 7 players in this league.

1 of 3 games? LOL. Heat have played 61 games. Wade has played in 45 of them.

The mere facts are that:

Harden has never been better than Wade, and is not better now.
Harden is a terrible defensive player.
Harden vs. Wade H2H was no contest in the NBA Finals.
Wade has been #1 in PER for 5 consecutive years and is only .25 away from Harden for his 6th straight which would put him in very rare company.

 

It is downright INSULTING to say that "it is not even close" when saying that harden is the best SG in the game.

In fact, it's stupid and ignorant.

 

I'm not bashing him he's just not the first SG I'd take.

Wade takes off a few games on back to backs because....he can. If he had to play 82 games this year he could have. When you have Bron anf Bosh why would you?

I'm not sure Harden is top 12 or so let alone 7 though.

 

i think we're both homers. your last stat proves harden is better right now. i dont want to bash wade because i like him, but as of right now he is not better than james harden. harden is better in pretty much every statistical category and he hasnt even reached his prime yet. you're clinging on to the memory of a 21 year old james harden. he has made vast improvements since he's become a rocket.

It honestly doesn't matter. Playoffs or shut up for Brooklyn. Beatibg us 100000 times in the regular season, aside from being impossible, means nothing.

I want to win more for playoff seeding and home court than caribg about the Gnats...err Nets.

When his shot is off he pretty much provides nothing, I mainly see him fouling guys he isn't large or athletic enough to defend. If Oden is healthy come playoff time I'd like to see more of a lineup with Lebron at SF witb Bosh and Oden on the floor.

 

School keeps me out of the watching games business. Is he this year's Finals Ginobli?

 

No not that bad. Hes still a valuable player if his shot is falling. It just hasn't been for the longest while and in my personal opinion his defense has declined.

Also I feel like Rio, Cole, Bosh and Lebron are all better shooters from three at this point. Allen too even if he's struggled some. If he isn't playing lock down defense we just don't need his spacing, especially if he isn't consistent with his shot heading into the playoffs.

Just my two cents.

did i hit a nerve, lol? that's alot of responses there, buddy. how is it that what i said was inaccurate when i used the stat YOU gave? personally, i'd rather go by ppg, rpg, apg, and win share %. harden is better in all. i'm sure playing less games and getting all that rest had nothing to do with wade's averages. let every star take 5 days off in between games whenever they feel like it and i'm sure they'd be fresher & more efficient for games too. thanks for the laugh though. harden is better than wade (i just wanted to throw that in there one more time to see if i can get another angry rant)
