You cant from that site, I get alot of info from that site, you have to host it yourself and then post it.
Here is a never before shown scene from the movie. It doesn't give much away for those wondering and once they show the clip it goes to English. http://www.aftonbladet.se/webbtv/noje/article2823244.ab
from the new preview doesn't it looks like the scarecrow drugs are in effect when it shows the joker kinda blurry and pulsating?
Here is a new clip with the Joker where he is looking for Harvey Dent, once the clip starts it goes to english. I already posted this but figured it would be more convenient posting the video here and not having to follow a link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BqJeHW53Lp0 And here are 4 new tv spots and all of them have new footage. http://www.batmanytb.com/news.php?readmore=528
Looking back, its funny to see all the doubt people had about ledger being the joker, http://www.rottentomatoes.com/news/comments/?entryid=346025 Im glad he pulled it off according to the reviews! here are quotes of people complaining when they first heard the news To be honest i think Robin williams would of been a terrible joker. Great actor but dose not fit the part..well atleast now the way they have ledger portraying the joker...
I cannot wait to see what this batman series does with Victor Fries, my favorite villain probably ever. I mean ANYTHING is better than the abomination called Batman and Robin. Can they match this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bzKSkAS24TM
I like to see them do Bane. I know supposedly he was in the 4th movie, however I don't really think he was. Another one would be nice is Harley Quinn. A character actually created for the cartoon series.
I remember seeing Robin Williams on a late night talk show, I don't remember which, and he said that he was originally cast for the role as the Joker until Nicholson took it.
It's funny how we sometimes consider that a certain actor would be the perfect fit for a given role, i.e., that he was born to play it. A lot of people, including me, thought that Jim Carrey would make the perfect Riddler and just didn't turn out that way.
Um, are you saying that it was a bad portrayal, which would be kind of hard since he doesn't actually talk or that you missed a guy that's about 6'4 and 300 lbs. whom Poison Ivy called "Bane?"
Great to hear that Ledger's portrayal of the Joker is being so well received. I think they took a gamble using the Joker in this film and re-creating a darker more modern version of the character, seems that it is going to pay off. I loved Nicholson's Joker, he was brillant as the iconic, classic version of the character, but just as this new Batman has been recreated I think the old villains can be as well. Good stuff, really dying to see this movie. I wouldn't mind seeing Raz al Ghul again, know he 'died' in the first movie but anyone that knows him from the comics knows that is only temporary....he's my favorite Batman villain of all time. Two face could be great in a movie too.
I dunno man...I think Nicholson as the Joker played a great Nicholson, and that's about it. The same character he plays in pretty much every "manic" role he takes on. He was more of a buffoon than the Clown Prince of Crime.
You must not read a lot of Batman comics, his character was right out of the comics. Bright costumes, over the top gags, it was pretty much a text book Joker right out of the comics. His joker and the one from the Animated Series (not the newest Animated but the older one) are right out of the comics. He was great as the Joker and I am brutal on Comic movies since I love comics and animation, have been into comics for like 30 years.
Yea, I think Nicholson made a great Joker, but one that was fit for a lighter Batman. This Batman series of movies requires an even more darker, psychopathic version.
I agree, I think its fitting to update all of the villains to go with the updated Batman. Looking forward to the movie alot.
And I've been reading them for about 40 bro. I am fully aware of how the Joker was in the EARLY comics. However, Burton was trying to make a "Dark Knight" era Batman, and mixed a Caesar Romero Joker in with it. The two didn't mix. I don't know of one Batman fan (and this is of the people I know personally) who thought he was a good Joker. You can't go back to the buffoonish Joker after "The Killing Joke" Joker made his appearance.
Im not sure which Joker Burton intended on, but I do know that this Joker(Ledger) is going to be based on "The Long Halloween" series.
That would be nice too. Like Firefly, Clayface, Mad Hatter, Killer Croc, or the Ventriloquist. My favorite would be Zsasz, I know he had a brief appearance in "Begins", but he would be an intriguing g bad guy in a dark Batman movie.
Same thing with Spiderman. How many ****ing movies are going to have Curt Connors in it before we see the Lizard???
No kidding, that's a major tease. I'd love to see Kraven as well, following McFarlane's storyline from the 1st 5 issues of Spider-Man.
It was a horrible portrayal. Bane in the comics is a bad *** and is actually intelligent. He broke batman's back.
I thought it was based on the Killing Joke. I know the director gave Ledger a copy of it when he got the role.
Ya know, I never was able to get my hand on the followup story to Knightfall. Wasnt it called "KnightQuest" and had Jean-Paul Valley as Batman? I need to get my hands on that one.
I have all three storlines, Knightfall, Knightquest, and Knight's End. I may be seeling my comic collection soon. If I do, I'll let you know and you can buy those from me.
I have to check. I don't remember if I do. I have the entire "Death of Superman" though. I have close to 2,500 comics, so it's hard to remember them all. I know I have Web of Spiderman #1 (first black costume issue) and I know I have The Savage Sword of Conan #1 also.
