http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...ior-tags-make-it-impossible-to-tag-him-again/ Kinda curious if Paul follows through with stackable tags.
Considering dropping down in the draft from 10th overall. Will want to stay in first round....compensation has to be in trade chart ballpark.
Oh so nowwww you want that jumbo 5-tech end. I thought you liked Red Bryant's value when discussing the Watt trade but didn't think he fit your scheme? Why the change of heart?
I feel like I gave up decent value. I was fine moving celek because I think Ertz showed enough to start this year. I was intrigued with an OLB duo of Jones and Dion Jordan
The same reason I didn't do the trade with Alex. Cap hit. I have a very specific cap figure that you will see later that is going to specific places. There isn't the wiggle room to be adding such cap.
Every GM has their own agendas when building a team, everyone values X higher than Z. Too many glass houses for a rock fight at this stage imo. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
Celek is good value but IMO his production doesn't justify his salary. That is why I feel you come out ahead. You dropped his cap space and picked up value. You took on some salary but in a better place IMO.
And Boik becomes the Marino 13th trade. That 95th pick might be the ****...but it looks like I'm whoring myself for draft picks lol. 2 picks in every round now except the 5th and 6th round.
Interesting trade between the Packers and Seahawks. Personally I'd rather have Cobb than Harvin at this point.
BuckeyeKing has exceeded their stored private messages quota and cannot accept further messages until they clear some space
Heh I hope everyone realizes 99% of the time I'm just ribbing Todd. We almost came together on another one today and had Boik not sneaked in at the last minute I think we were on to something again. One of these days ;p
I like Cobb, A LOT! But in terms of being dynamic, I LOVE HARVIN. He looked good in the super bowl, his hip seems to be fine. A little worried about the migraines, but he didnt miss much in Minnesota with them. I also love putting him, woodhead and heath miller on the field at the same time, with boykin...who you going to defend? Now, my defense, thats another story...
I like Harvin too, he's just not my type of WR. As dynamic as he is I'd like to see him break 1000 yards receiving. I inquired about Harvin as well so its not like I wouldnt want him. Cobb I'd just more of a true WR which is why I said I'd take him. You can use Harvin on returns too though. Its more his salary that bothers me.
Cobb also has Aaron Rodgers, Harvin has had Christian Ponder. That matters imo Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
Definitely. I don't think its a bad trade. I think its a very very high risk/reward for the Packers and a huge plus for Seattle who cuts his cap number. Gets s great drafy pick, picks up another very good WR and keeps their restructure for someone else.
I agree, I would've liked to see the picks reversed myself but is what it is. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
me too..but Todd "put the pu**y(harvin) on a pedestal" so if i wanted him, i need to add the 2nd. It is what it is. I hate the cap number too, but i'll restructure and we'll go from there.
Sounds about right, can you imagine the poor girl he went to prom with and the "negotiations" that took place to go all the way??? Poor girl (guy) Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
Yeah. You tell Todd to **** off and wait til he gets desperate so he can try to re-sign all those UFAs!
never a good thing to discuss trades that haven't been agreed to yet (one side posts the other doesn't confirm). That's all I'm going to say about that There are other ways to communicate... PM... cough.
It's Probably A Crappy Thing To Do. But, I've Retracted The Trade. He Hadn't agreed yet, So I Think I'm Within The Rules
Insert 40 year old virgin clip that in no way would Boik allow so you can go look it up yourself Edit: I'm now off work till Sunday late evening. Go figure that I'm mostly done tradin' now ;p
Yeah now I feel bad about discussing it, I'm accessing the site from my phone at work so there is my excuse Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
Then that is suggesting you know more about someone than their own team...wich wouldn't be the case. Everyone has their own reason for doing whatever they do, unless it's blatantly cheating?? You would look silly.
2013 trading away Bills premium dt's. Acquired: Brent Celek TE $4,531,000 Cedric Thornton DT $555,000 Round 4 - Pick 100 For: Marcell Dareus DT $5,565,628 Acquired: RB Kendall Hunter $664,750 DT Mike Daniels $555,146 For: Kyle Williams DT $5,805,000 Two trades I was criticized for being absolutely nuts to do last year. But I intentionally went for those 2 tackles as 'add-ons'. Got younger(Williams)/cheaper(Dareus) at DT and moved away the large cap money invested into DT into other positions. And still ended up with 2 highly rated tackles. Only downside in it is Kendall Hunter didn't improve like I thought he'd do.
We all have our own agendas, that's what makes the league fun. If we all subscribed to PFF to evaluate talent and hung around the draft forum waiting to see who CK liked this league would suck.
