Nope. If I were to guess it was probably Kofi, who was his traveling buddy.

RAW's rating was down yesterday from last week, which was down from the previous week (Batista's return). Which is important because you know who is going to be blamed for it.

Over The Edge 1999 will be on the WWE Network, which is notable as it's the event Owen Hart died at and it has never been released on video or DVD before. I'm guessing that that part will be edited out.

Also other big non PPV events like the 1988 Royal Rumble And The Big Event will be on the Network as well.

I was watching that one live. Fortunately the cameras were not on the ring when he fell. It must have taken a lot for the rest of those guys to finish that show. I don't even remember the card. Triple H main evented I believe.

Stone Cold and Undertaker main evented and the WWF title changed hands and went to the Taker. I think Triple H wrestled The Rock that night.

I didn't "see" the event live, I was watching it scrambled back when the cable channels would flash the live picture every 10 seconds or so but the audio was perfect. I was on the computer and turned it on just after the accident and thought it was weird there was no audio or talking and the camera was just on the crowd then I heard JR say an accident happened with Owen and Lawler was in the ring helping and of course remember minutes later them telling us Owen died. Just an awful accident/night.

But yeah much respect to the wrestlers for finishing the event. The WWF was in a no win situation that night.

Imagine if Owen happen now. How much video would be out there of the fall. Thankfully that will never be seen

Looks like more of the same with Bryan at the Smackdown tapings.

The WWE is worried Del Rio will be leaving the company when his contract expires. Word is Del Rio feels like he's done enough with wrestling, he's 37, and is unhappy that he went from main event guy to being feed to Batista. Maybe it's just me but I won't miss Del Rio.

Regarding Stacy Keibler word is the WWE wants her in the HOF and also to be a backstage interviewer.

I remember reading The Rocks first book and he mentioend how he wanted to run out and check on Owen, but Vince told him to keep in character and you'll see him backstage, I BELIEVE Rock was a heel then......Rocky ended up agreeing with the decision but he wanted to be out there badly, I think him and Owen were very close.

Yeah I remember that from his book as well. The Rock had just turned face a few weeks back and had been feuding with Triple H at the time.

The more I search it is someone came and told Rocky something happened to Owen, and when Rock reached the curtain Vince told him not to go out so people wouldnt think it was an act and Rock was coming to "save the day" and pop and cheer.

Because of his recent face turn.

The hard part is watching the matches/promos afterwards.....everyone was a ****ing mess. Taker broke down and cried in the ring. Real sad.

Look for Adolph Ziggler and The Miz to form a tag team soon. The reason? They have no clue what to do with either guy.

EDIT: Damn auto-correct changing Dolph to Adolph.

Apparently the WWE isn't mentioning the CM Punk thing on TV because he's currently the #2 merchandise selling superstar and there is belief if they mention he's not with the company anymore those sales will decline a lot and also because Vince McMahon really likes Punk and is hoping to get him to return.

Yeah someone mentioned that at both shows this week they were selling his merch at full price, non-discounted.....as long as thats still selling, and it is, the longer they will drag it on quietly.

Supposedly too, Vince is the ONLY member of WWE that wants to reach out to him, no HHH, no creative. In the old days Vinny could slap a blank check down and bring guys in, Punk may not be so easy haha

Also its so ****ing sad to see so much talent like Dolph, Big E, Cesario (I know now EC match), Rhodes, Kofi etc drifting into bull**** nothingness land, instead of forming awesome rivalries for IC titles and US titles like back in the day. People forget HHH and Rock had awesome fueds for IC titles before they were mega stars.....they need to build these guys up. It sucks US title is a paper weight around Ambrose, and IC title is barely thought of around Langston because hes filler the first hour of RAW.

Well the only person who Punk really, kind of talked to in the front office is Vince. Apparently Punk didn't think a match with Triple H was high profiled enough for him so there could be heat between the two guys, so I get that Vince wants to be the only one involved. Of course a lot has to do with Punk being Punk.

I think the WWE is high up on Cesario, Cody, Big E, Bray Wyatt and the Shield members, especially Reigns. I think the WWE has done a really nice job building those characters up (minus Cesario who's been stuck with the Swagger team) the past few months. I mean this time next year Reigns should be close to that main event spot if he's not there already.

Not everyone can or should be WWE Champion but there's no reason why the WWE can't build a solid mid-card title like the US/IC belt and make it mean something so you're absolutely right. Ambrose won the US title in May right? I can't even remember the last time he defended the title on RAW/Smackdown, and has he ever defended it on a PPV? Or course the running joke now is winning the US or IC title is the worst thing that can happen to you because that automatically means that wrestler will be jobbing non stop.

The WWE absolutely dropped the ball with the Dolph Ziggler push, yeah Dolph got hurt which took a little wind from it but they just waited way too long to put the title on him even though he got that HUGE reaction when he finally won. Which is surprising because Ziggler is really a homegrown talent where they basically signed him out of college and put him in development. He has the look, the build, the ability, the mike skills for the most part but yeah they just don't like him for some reason anymore.

I don't think that's true but even so for a guy like Punk wins and losses are meaningless for him and his character. The bottom line is that he's in the 2nd or 3rd biggest match on the biggest card of the year. Punk was pissed because he wasn't in the WWE title picture or in the main event.

Two other possible names being mentioned for the HOF: Lita, if Stacy doesn't go in, and Mr. T. The WWE has tried to get Mr. T numerous times in the past but he keeps rejecting them.

Word going around is that the WWE and Sting are extremely close to a deal, although the sources are saying Sting won't be a part of WM30 and might not even wrestle until WM31, as the WWE wants to stall his in ring debut for a big event.

Personally if he does sign, I'd be shocked if he doesn't wrestle before them, even if he's on a Lesnar schedule.

Is it bad that I didn't even realize Beth Phoenix was gone from the WWE until I read this news yesterday? You can tell how much I care about the Diva division.

Does that make Edge and CM Punk 2 time Eskimo brothers? Since CM Punk and Edge both dated Lita and Phoenix?

Here's an email sent to Bryan Alvarez and was published in his Figure Four Newsletter from an unnamed WWE wrestler about CM Punk:

"Honestly, Punk is being a little b****. I liked him so much before his run leading to and after that Money in the Bank in Chicago. He's a guy where you have to be really in his circle for him to I guess open up, which I understand, but being put in a feud with Kane and then with HHH at Mania is not a bad thing. Now I understand he feels this is his last Mania and he wants to main event and really, with the right storyline, that match could main event, but literally after the Tribute to the Troops incident he's just been difficult. There are so many there that want his spot, that want to say, 'I need a weekend off to go to UFC.' I really and fully believe he's a little jealous of the crowd reactions to Bryan and it's getting to him—He's just been such a dick lately. That interview with Ariel, he acted like he was the victim at the Troops taping when Michelle was just joking. Little b**** AJ took it to the wrong level. Do you really think AJ would have a 'pipe bomb' interview time or longest Diva champ BS if she wasn't dating Punk? Punk really doesn't want to be the face of the company. That's BS. I hate hearing that s***. He says he does but this isn't ROH or OVW. He would b**** so much if he had to do Michael & Kelly at 9 a.m., then fly to a different state (for Raw), do a Make-A-Wish at 1 p.m. and then RAW, then do SmackDown, then do something Wednesday to fly home Thursday to be on the road Friday or Saturday. No way he could handle that for four months. He may come back as soon as Monday or he may never come back, but if never comes back he better remember how many fans he's f***ing over right now, the same way he believes the WWE is f***ing him over. And I'm not defending Vince or HHH. Especially HHH, because people are seeing that HHH taking over isn't as cool as they thought it would be. Outlaws, Nash, X-Pac, Flair, HBK, Batista—yeah must be nice to be HHH friends."

The Undertaker is scheduled to return the night after the Elimination Chamber PPV.

Also there is talk that there will either be a triple threat match between all 3 Shield members at WM or Bryan vs. Orton vs. Batista for the WWE title but there won't be 2 triple threat matches.

Right now all WM matches are now up in the air and the WWE is going to wait and see based on crowd reactions etc before booking anything.

Apparently Vince would welcome back CM Punk with open arms while Triple H is glad he's gone from the WWE and doesn't want him back mainly due to his moods and negativity. Punk is still hiding out in radio silence mode and dodging everyone's calls/texts/emails.

I'm actually surprised with how much of the wrestling fan base is bashing and blaming the WWE over Punk leaving instead of blasting Punk directly instead.

I seriously don't understand how anyone can blame the WWE for this, especially since they have been trying to reach out to him all this time and he's still refusing to talk to anyone.

RAW on March 3rd in Chicago should be fun though. The Chicago crowds are always crazy and you know they will be pro-Punk no matter what. Right now the plan is to load up that RAW with a lot of talent (Brock, Undertaker etc) to distract the crowd from hijacking things. You'd have to think if Punk were to come back to the WWE that would be the target show to return to.

Man the past few weeks of RAW have been.... boring.

So I guess Orton is going to win the EC match. Just found it strange they would have him job to Cena clean. I figured it was going to end with a non-finish so Bryan could be the only wrestler with a "win" against Orton heading into the EC match.

I still say the EC should end with Bryan and Orton as the last two guys in the ring, you get a ref bump so they have to open the EC, another ref comes in, another ref bump causing Triple H to enter and accidently knocks into Bryan causing Orton to hit the RKO and get the win. Next night on RAW Bryan comes out and demands his title match because he's tried of The Authority holding him back on purpose and Triple H says if you can beat me at WM then you'll get your shot in the WM main event against both Orton and Batista. At WM Bryan beats Triple H and then beats Orton/Batista to become the champion giving Bryan his WM moment and finally giving the fans what they want. It also gives Triple H his WM match and fills the CM Punk void.

If you appreciate wrestling for it's art....

That Orton-Cena match was pretty damn good.

I also thought that the Batista Run-in was well executed and a Batista-Del Rio match has some possibilities.

The ONLY thing that bothered me about Batista running out was he was in full ring attire. He looked ridiculous lol. Hes been coming out in hoody and jeans, and all of a sudden, with no match in sight, he runs out for a few seconds in his ring gear? Oh.......ok.....?

Batista was in his in ring gear because he wrestled a dark match with Bryan & Cena vs. The Wyatts. But yeah I agree it always looks weird/silly when a wrestler who isn't wrestling on the card does a run in with his gear on, just throw on a t-shirt and a pair of work out pants or whatever.
