well, Flacco was certainly better when he also had Boldin and a healthy Pitta. Take that away from any QB and he likely has an off year.
You really should because it basically means your throwing away stupid amounts to ever get them. No one's come close on Watt and I fully expect him to be there at the end. DeAndre was a first rounder last year that played well enough despite a shell of a Schaub and Case Keenum throwing the ball. And Brooks after his first full year starting is the 11th ranked guard at PFF and the kind of run blocker (3rd ranked run blocker) I wished Miami had at RG. So yes when rebuilding a bad team you try to keep the good solid young parts. So yes my no trade generally means no trade with the smallest of caveats that if someone wants to offer stupendous amounts...well then you keep that sliver open. I don't really play games with my trades. That's what the discussion threads are for. I find these chats my entertainment ;p
By the way I'm only joking it appears I need to rehash that after just about every post. Especially if you keep Delanie Walker you have a lot of nice weapons for old Joe. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
Sorry Paul, I already removed a player from my roster before you confirmed. Let me know if there's anything wrong with it and I'll undo. In future, I'll wait till you've certified.
Yeah, I didn't beat around the bush. I told 24 from the start I Gordon was my priority and I was willing to sell the farm for him.
I wanted Josh Gordon, then I remembered everyone told me Brian Hartline was better back in September. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
Also.. CKap and the Eagles are a match made in heaven. Nice trade for both. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
Ill be honest I don't understand that trade. I think both guys fit their current system better and with their low salaries either could fetch as kings ransom. I don't think its a bad trade, I feel lije both teams are where they started
That's where I'm somewhat torn on Watt. Really really don't want to let him go..........but he could be quite the big chip to filling out the rest of Houston's roster. Decisions decisions.
It's a fair comment Alex. But when I took the San Fran GM job the first thing Jim Harbaugh said to me is "Please go get me a pocket passer." I think this trade gives both coaches a QB that better fits their vision.
I think Foles is a good QB, but hes not the ideal QB for Chip Kelly's offense. I was looking to acquire either Cam Newton or Ckap, who I both believe are the ideal fits.
I actually like it better for you because og the JG trade. Foles to JG is a perfect complimentary combo.
Yeah man I don't mean to imply I don't like it for either of you guys. It just kind of caught me off guard to see.
I think I gave Boik amazing value fot Wright but with Nelson and Andre, plus needing a guard it was fine. Also working on a trade for another WR anyway. He gave me great value for Gay right back though so I'm happy. They were two separate deals we posted as one.
Guess you weren't lying when you said you had alot of trades going down. Not only that, but they are all pretty huge trades so far.
I was just happy to get a good wr without it costing 7 picks I don't have and 4 players. Decastro is definitely a player I hated to move but whatever. Was also happy to get a 3 for Gay. His pff ranking says I may have been able to do slightly better but it was fair value for a player whose ranking may have been better then it'll ever be.
I think I've won some and lost some, but I knew I couldn't make the Titans respectable without trying to make a splash. For some reason everyone bombarded me with messages so it wasn't too hard to deal a bunch
It's exactly what I'm talking about when it comes to finding that right fit. I do look forward to seeing what happens with the 95th pick hereby dubbed "The **** Pick".
See now thats commitment! You never responded to my counter offer...too busy playing hooka errr hooky I mean
