Salguero: Aponte wants to leave, others in limbo

Philbin is a Goober, so is Ireland...Oh well...One more year isn't going to kill me at this point. I just hope I can see us make the playoffs before I die or the world ends. I am tired of rebuilding though. Seems like we are doing this every three years and it's only getting worse. Burning it all down to build it back in turd like fashion isn't going to get it done. After we fail in horrid fashion next year, this clown staff will be gone, and a new regime will be in place.

I'm saying that if you fire Philbin and keep Ireland, you aren't going to get a credible coach. Philbin has been here for 2 years and is already fed up with Jeff.

 

Fair enough. That may or may not be true. It would depend on the individual coaches involved to some degree but I can't say youre wrong.

Maybe that's the play. A huge loss if she leaves. Several messages are being sent to future candidate's for any position within the organization, that Ross is unreasonable, Aponte is not afraid to stand up for what is right and also that she is a team player. Team player being the key message being sent out with her resume.

She lets it be known she disagrees with whatever changes Ross want's to make. Maybe she gets added into the mix and collects what she is owed in her contract anyway. I am sure she has some of it guaranteed.
