We're sitting in a pretty good spot with Tennessee losing already today. It would be great to see San Diego lose to Cincy at home as well. If we win in Pitt next week I think we'll be in pretty good shape with the Ravens remaining schedule being tough. If we take 4 of 4 we're in but 3 of 4 could do it too as long as Baltimore goes 2-2 because of the tie-breaker scenario. The D obviously played great today with the turnovers and 3 points given up. What was frustrating for me to watch was how unproductive we were in the red zone! Our line played great pass protection-wise but yet again they made little room for Miller to work with again. We DESPERATELY need a #1 Tight end in the offseason. Someone about 6-6 who can grab jump balls and score TD's in the red zone! I would love if we looked at Sefarian-Jenkins or Fiedorowicz from Iowa around the 2nd round in the draft. They would be ideal for this offense to pair with Clay and it would only help out Tannehill because we have nobody that can go up and grab jump balls.
The Tampa Bay game is our worst loss because it was a winless team and we would have had a cushion. The Ravens loss comes in at second due to it being a conference game and the Ravens get head to head in wild card chase. Bills game third because conference record issues and our division record isn't important with the Pats at 9-3.
Yeah, every loss sucks, but the Carolina one is the least important. Bills or Ravens stings the most. Especially because we should have been able to get the FG at the end and the OL disentegrated at just the wrong moment both times.
Anyone noticed that in the past 5 games Andrew Luck has only thrown a total of 2 TDs while throwing 5 INTs? Not the same guy since losing Wayne...
