Just seeing the score, not at home to watch the game....suffice it to say my night (week?) is ruined.

One of these days Hartline will hopefully keep running upon reception. Maybe he has to use his arms for balance or something b/c as soon as he secures the football he falls down like a cat with its tail taped to its back.

 

I am down 114-110 and I have Lamar Miller and he has Vincent Jackson. I hope Miller can at least get 50 yards rushing in the second half lol.

 

Seriously though, we seem to flourish in the no huddle... quick 3 step drop, pass type of offense... isnt that what Philbins O was all about? West coast... quick fire reads and passes. No WR open, check it to the RB. Just unload it quick, treat quick passes as your running game if you cant run it effectively. Just keep them on their toes, quick to the line, quick strikes.

 

The defense is still a major issue. If anything in that first half, Randy Starks proved he's the best DT Miami has. Jared Odrick got "bullied" by Davin Joseph. If Joe Philbin survives this season, I hope he throws Kevin Coyle out with Jim Turner and the Texas A&M Gang. I'll copyright that from here on out.

 

Good idea bc I doubt Matthews will have as much space as he did in the first half.

It's the difference between this team being explosive and average. He needs to hit that pass, given the time & protection he was given. There are plenty of average QB's in the league, if he hits on these he takes a step.
