Still think it's just Tanny/Wallace miscommunication. Wallace missing that big chunk in the offseason didn't help. Vast majority seems to be Wallace not understanding Tanny's going to aim for your back shoulder so he needs to be precise in his route and make the stop on a dime so he doesn't have to twist his body around.
That last drive may have been a huge momentum swing. From the Wallace drop, to the missed FG. We bailed them out, and now Brady has the ball.
So why do we go emtpy backfield on a 2nd and 2 against a D that can't stop the run? That is outsmarting yourself.
