Guys, we went on the road and beat the Colts who just went to SF and won. We beat one of the best teams in the league in the Falcons. We're for real. We have the makings of a great team if we stay healthy.
The best part about this is the locker room is really gonna' buy in and believe. I think we're gonna' see this team come together and reach they're potential. LET'S GO !!!
Ahh..in 09 saw RonnieB do the same thing on MNF sort of.. Simms acted as if "here" no big pump up, just "donk, thanks for playing"
Anyone else irritated listening to the announcers twice say how Miami's win was against an injured Falcons team, as if we didn't have key guys of our own injured as well? Screw them. It was an even playing field today and we came out on top.
I still think we're lacking something offensively...... A tight end and a running back.. But great win.
Once again I believe in Tannehill....Awesome damn win! Matthews-most of us believe in him and he showed it today. Gibson-I forgot about Bess at this point (glad he helped his Browns win though) The O-Line-Flat out AWESOME on that last drive!!!!! We are for real people!
PS: Love seeing Tannehill out-duel the guy half this board whines about us passing on in '08. Fairly soon that move will look beneficial in hindsight.
ASOT. That surely is open to ppl. Another Suck Off....please feel free to fill in the gaps. Go support another team. Phins were never out of it and you spout that crap. Seriously?
I tell ya when Lamar Miller dropped that would be touchdown I almost hurt my head banging it into the floor in disgust... I think that drop was a blessing in disguise though.
I'm proud today. The defense was banged up. Linebackers hurt, Wake hurt, Carroll getting shredded, no one making any plays. Tannehil looking uncertain, protection leaky, sketchy playcalling and execution. Defense sacks up and makes plays, pass protection gets it together, Tannehill wakes up, Mike Sherman makes some great calls, players making plays. What an effort. A gutsy, team effort. A young team needs to learn how to win, they were taught a little bit today.
Thing that makes DJones surprising to most of us is I don't think he played much as gunner in the preseason and if he did, he didn't do anything to stand out.
Oh yeah.....For all of us wondering where Don Jones was all summer??? He's here! Play of the game IMO
I for one am glad Miami plays on Monday night next week. A lot of guys are going to need that extra day. Wake and Misi never returned. Philip Wheeler missed a whole series. Dannell Ellerbe and Chris Clemons gutted that out. Same with Pouncey and Wallace. Looking forward to Monday Night Football!
This X 1000 We were out Patterson, soliai and wake so I figured it was a fair game Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 4
Important point..we have that much talent now This roster is no longer skating on thin ice, we have some guys who..can do some things
Today's game reminded me of the win the 2008 squad had against San Francisco. Miami was pretty much banged up and lost just about every statistical category there was (at least until that last drive); they were outplayed for 56 minutes, and they gutted out a win. Beautiful. A win like that is going to go a long way for the confidence of this team.
I was 15 and a sophomore in high school (I am 26 and a father of a kindergartner now) Side note: Any one notice Tannehills swagger that last drive? Every time he completed a pass he was bouncing and shaking his head like he knew he would do it and he KNEW the future held a TD.....he KNEW he could get it done and he did. And what a ****ing catch by Sims eh?! First nfl td is against the Falcons and the team having the best TE in the history of the game he wants to be like (Gonzalez).....holy **** guys. We had no reason to win yet we did. We are for real!!!!!!!!
What a win Boys......So Excited after that gut check performance! Huge game for Tannehill....he seriously grew up in that last drive.
