Give him a chance because Vernon and Martin from what I saw were getting worked. Starks played well once he played standard 1-gap NT ball. Odrick also is a solid DT. The only question is what should the DE rotation be. Jordan at RE, Shelby at LE seemed to help.
I'd be happy just to have him learn how to leave the pocket. He's a former WR for goodness sake. It's like he's trying to over compensate in the other direction, prove too much that he's a pocket passer. What I wouldn't give to be the QB coach to grab the phucker by the face mask and tell him RUN IF YOU HAVE TO. MOVE THE CHAINS! Luck was impressive doing that last week when it was needed and Tanne could be just as effective if not better.
well, we really dont know that either way at the pro level… Kid just has not played enough for us to know one way or the other...
Some positives , a few more negatives , so being where we are is a plus . We get the ball , had the half to adapt and make changes , this could be wonderful.
What's worse is that the Bills or Jets are going to have 2 wins today. Got to win to keep it competitive.
You can lose the attitude. You said it after a touchdown. Again, it still makes no sense no matter how you say it. Sent from my Galaxy S3 using Tapatalk
Tannehill needs to really improve his movement in the pocket. It will come, but it's glaring right now. On the same note, the coaches need to get Tannehill rolling out on the PA.
I dont think the coaching staff wants him doing that… for now… I think they are trying to teach him how to be a pocket passer and in time they will allow him to incorporate the running part of his game.
How ya feelin' today Byroan? Isn't football great. Exciting. Thrilling. Nerve wracking. I love that games MATTER again.
Not being able to stop run is really killing our d. As Ryan is firing passes quickly as well. Two things that are hard to fix.
Tannehill not having his best game, yet still a good one. his inexperience shows in pocket awareness, two minute drill timing, decisiveness and timing with reads and pulling the trigger. All will improve with age.
