Reggie has the ability to make things happen when there isn't anything upfront though. These guys are just barrelling straight ahead

 

havent been impressed with ellerbe or wheeler in coverage so far

That concerns me the most. It's like the gameplan today consisted of him being a deep guy, a decoy almost. Rather than us actually using his speed and talent on the field. Why no quick hits, no slants, no screens for Wallace. Just get the damn ball in his hands.

HOpefully more often as we get the running game and blocking to improve.

 

Mitchell played well last year. Our D is owning him.

 

Amazing what run blocking will do for you isnt it? Its not miller, or thomas' fault. Theyve had nowhere, but nowhere to run.

Our D Line has to be top 5. They get pressure, stop the run. What more do you want from this unit? When the offense catches up this team is going to be a force. Also, the secondary has to be the most improved unit on the team. Good job Ireland.
