So... is it down to Lane vs Rodriguez in the TE/HB/FB competition? [4] RBs: Miller, Thomas, Gillislee, Thigpen [3] TEs: Clay, Sims, Egnew [1] FB/TE: ??
no, no no...there is no way around this...mr. grammar police office Mr.Clean with the typo....hahahahhaha
In all seriousness I know that the plan for the new USFL is to act as an unofficial D league but god knows when they will be up and running.
First Stitches, then Mr Clean.. in the same thread!! Twilight Zone music is playing in the background. What... Is... Going.... On!??! Apparently Stitches has gotten his revenge.
Am I wrong about him? You ate up all his religious bla bla bla he would say in every interview? Holy? Not to me. What a joke.
hmm... Did you misspell it on purpose? This will require a tribunal by the highest court. Stitches! and his *****es...
What's funny... six weeks from now, nobody (well maybe one or two might) will care who we sign during the week to the practice squad, to the bottom of the roster. The news will evaporate like a fart in the wind.
Honestly? It's all religious bla bla bla to me. However, if one is an alleged wife-beater and convicted rapist, and the other is disingenuous... I'd probably lean toward the disingenuous one.
back to the topic at hand... Omar Kelly @OmarKelly 8m The Dolphins have released CB De'Andre Presley and DT Tracy Robertson. Presley sealed the Saints win with an INT. Dupree is upset.
Omar Kelly @OmarKelly 24s The Dolphins will release Jonas Gray later today, but there's a strong possibility he might end up on the practice squad if he's not claimed
So I go out to lunch and to buy myself a new Bulls t-shirt, come back and the only cuts to be announced while I was out are DeAndre Presley, Julian Posey, Tracy Robertson and Kyle Miller? Jeez. Taking their time.
I agree. I have been saying for some time now that RB is going to be a major problem for the Dolphins this year. Miller has excellent speed but I don't think he will be able to take the pounding of being a #1 running back. It is only a matter of time before Thomas is hurt again and even when he does play, he only has one or two decent games a season. Gillislee just didn't show much in the preseason and I don't see him being someone the team can rely on at the RB if and when Miller or Thomas get hurt.
I hope Posey makes to our PS, I like his potential. And really hope they can find a way to make AJ Francis stick on the 53, my only fear is Ireland moving someone like Starks for a draft pick(s) to make it happen, its definitely in his MO to do that.
It'd be far more in his MO to move Francis for a pick at this point of the year than it would be to move Starks.
The Packers are only going to go as far as Aaron Rodgers takes them. Without Rodgers, the Packers are probably not a playoff team and would probably finish third or fourth in their division. Fortunately for you, Rodgers is a Packer and therefore the Packers should definitely make the playoffs this year. Great QB's can make up for average talent and Rodgers is a great QB.
I don't see any NFL team trading for Starks and giving up a draft pick, when they can wait until after this season and sign him as a free agent and not have to give up any draft picks.
I don't buy that at all, if a team thinks they can make a run this year they are not going to wait. And I'm just speculating.
