Hiya peeps. I actually got 11 hours of sleep last night, so I'm ready to take on the world!

I felt like crap most of the day yesterday, so once I got home from work, I ate a bowl of cereal and went to bed.

 

I need at least 10-12 hours of sleep to be functional the next day (without caffeine)

My parents thought there was something wrong with me as a child because I frequently slept until 1-2 o'clock in the afternoon.

I would sleep all freakin day if I could.

 

thats good, ive never been a big sleeper, I usually get 6-7 hours till I collapse and sleep alot, usually a weekend, and then I'm good. Only problem is on sundays I have a tendency to sleep 3-4 hours.

 

I am the same way. On occsion I will sleep in late but its rare and I have to be extremely exhausted (or extremely drunk). Part of it is probably just natural body makeup, but I feel liek the day is wasted if I get up too late. Like, why even start the day now since half of it is gone?

One of the weirdest moments for me was sleeping an entire day, literally. I was working about 72 hours straight, got home on aFriday night and fell asleep around 11 P.M.

I woke up at 2 A.M. Sunday morning. A whole day and then some gone.

 

...Wow.

Usually I get about 5-6 hours of sleep on weekdays then sleep 8-9 hours on the weekend. I'm usually dead by Friday but I'm fine by Sunday...

 

I always wake up around 10ish, but im always told thats way too late to wake up. Then i say "well, theres people my age dont wake up until 1, 2 or 3 in the afternoon." So I justify it. I dont know why sleeping in makes you somehow lazy, but thats the perception. Theres a bias against use late sleepers. Ive always been that way. I usually dont sleep more than 8 hours, but I dont go to bed until like 2-3am.

 

Yeah... I usually tell people, "Yeah I sleep til about 5ish..."

Then they go on how I'm lazy and eventually I say, "I work third shift, jackass..."
