Season tickets only day at camp today, any season ticket holders going and wanting to update us later, or even from camp?

    Some tweets so far:

    Omar Kelly@OmarKelly1m
If Will Davis doesn't get any better at practice then it's a foregone conclusion that Dimitri Patterson will be No. 3 CB. He's doing well

    Omar Kelly@OmarKelly2m
And Armon Binns is the primary target for whatever QB he works with on most days. So far he's sponge worthy (Seinfeld reference).

    Andrew Abramson@AbramsonPBP6m
Pulling into #dolphins practice and I see that my Trip A mileage is at 6666. Hopefully that's not an omen.

I would have thought that Carroll or Taylor would be more likely candidates than Davis for the 3rd spot anyway, Davis to me is more likely a #4/5 CB candidate at the moment.

Considering Binns' history from Cincy of being a good practice player and not so good when the games start, and Omar calling him the QB's favourite target this camp, I think we definitely have our #1 candidate for this year's Naanee Award.

Watching Lance Louis get some 2nd team work in with the offensive line. But this is pre-practice practice. We'll see.

Noteworthy in that hopefully Louis is getting close to full fitness, if Jerry is out, we'll need him.

i hope not, i actually like Binns, there can´t be a worse receiver thatn Naanee on the planet, but that omar likes binns is a little bit concerning, i agree

Just a guess here but I think Jerry may be out for an extended period. Why bother moving Incognito to RG if he's only going to be there for a few days?

Definitely, it points more to a long-term thing than a stopgap like plugging the backup in until he's back.

Binns is a legit WR, one of the better #4s in the league IMO (he was a starter in Cincy last season). I'm not too worried about WR.

Rookie CB Will Davis missed another practice because of his lingering hernia issues. I doubt he'll play in the first exhibition game

#Dolphins are practicing their fumble recoveries. Forcing turnovers are a huge focus in camp this year.

Considering the conversation the other day, I wonder how they're practicing the recoveries. A bubble full of chickens?

I wouldn't expect anything else but an up-and-down training camp from Will Davis. Natural talent but not a whole lot of experience, there's probably an equal number of plays where he makes mental mistakes with ones that he covers up for with his natural talents. I think he'll be a good player, but it's going to take a little more time.

That is per football outsiders, something I don't buy into b/c some teams are better at it then others, for example Lovie Smith's Bears.

    True.

But if you have 3 guys around the ball and the opposition has 1, you have a statistical advantage of recovering the fumble.

Tannehill finally delivered a pretty deep pass to Mike Wallace during 1-on-1. Brent Grimes got tripped up.

WR Mike Wallace does a "stop and go" on Brent Grimes and beats him deep again. Grimes held Wallace and the WR still got a step.

Three views of the same play, one stands out as more negative than others, wonder which one...
