    Deej..your mancrush on Wake..little creepy.

Glad to see Vernon is showing, but sounds like the OL is really struggling so far.

In 2011, he was ranked the best run stop pct of any corner according to PFF.

I've been singing Keller's praises since his rookie season. The guy has huge potential productivity, he's just never had a good QB throwing to him.
He's a fantasy sleeper at TE, IMO. probably not top 5, but definitely top 10.

Our defense is bad *** Pod, Ellerbe and wheeler are flying thru gaps and sh&&, our Dline is just really damn good, offense has new moving parts, more time, 1st day of pads..

The thing I'm learning from these daily threads is something I learned the first time I ever visited a Dolphins message board during a training camp, over a decade ago.

Every single member of the media has a different opinion on what they see and they are al looking for their "look how right I was" moment. The only difference now is that with Twitter you get it every 30 seconds instead of having to read an entire article from 10 different guys.

I'll do what I always do, ignore the mainstream know-it-alls and wait for our people to give us camp reports.

Is our defense this good, or is our Oline that bad? Or somewhere In the middle more realistically

I really love hearing how well Ellerbe is doing already, seems to be fitting in great with our D and establishing himself as a leader. He even had an interception, I almost forgot what linebackers creating turnovers looks like, expect a big season from him!

    It's your weirdness after all.

We'll see, it sounds like the D is throwing a lot of things at the O at the start of camp.

Next to grimes it sounded like from the pundits at least that he was the most dominant..

Also had a deflection at the line on a rush, said that he could of sacked Ryan 4 times, a pick..now I don't believe what he said when he said he could lead the league in sacks but I'm happy with the overall swap.

I think it's probably somewhere in the middle at this point. 1st day of pads. Defenses are usually ahead of the offense at this point, and Miami's got more moving parts offensively than defensively - Wallace, Gibson, Keller, Sims, etc. I think the first 2 preseason games will provide a more accurate barometer.

True if I had no previous knowledge of the Dolphins, from the reports it sounds like Grimes is our best player. Our D could be nasty this year!!

Now whenever I watch the opposing defense blitz us I'm going to imagine Philbin yelling at our o-line, "IT'S A TRAP!!!!!!"

I'd like to hear something about him too, would really like seeing someone take over Misi's starting spot. If it is Jenkins great, if its Jordan thats great too, but I still really have no idea what we're doing with Jordan

I worry about that guy Rock, I feel like he's not supposed to play at that weight, 245, that is if you wanna get the best player he can be. 6 foot tall coverage linebacker? not sure that's good weight he's carrying, but I'm interested to see him in preseason to see if I can get some vision for him at this level..

You heard anything at all about him? I assume he's on the JV field as a rookie, all the camp reports I've seen have been the first and second stringer stuff

They say he's a bit undersized, but they say that about a lot of players. Think Zach Thomas. He's tremendously athletic though, that's why I'm excited about him.

Just watched the Olivier Vernon interview. That dude looks big! Really happy to see him shining so far because I was high on him last year as well and saw the flashes of a guy who can be a really good player in this league. You can tell he worked his *** off this offseason.

Great job by Vern to get under Wake's wing too. It's obvious how hungry he is and there's no better guy to learn from. Really cool to watch your best defender be a leader and mentor to the young pups.

Man, Wake/Vernon/Jordan is going to be serious business. I'm stoked!

Nothing as of yet, It's tough in practice to get play from the media when your third team, but he'll get his shot in games this preseason..he was a very highly recruited player coming out of high school, we'll see what he looks like when the ole bullets start flying..

Jordan I sense will be all over the place. When you get someone with that ability and versatility, it's a serious weapon. He'll play on the line, he'll play outside linebacker, he'll likely do it all.

Usually those undersized guys have at least one trait that is outstanding if their gonna make it at this level, Zach's was his intelligence and anticipation..I hope this guy can be a good backup with some upside, we sure could use it.

Most people have been say he is more effective as a pass rusher standing up so hopefully we see him mostly at OLB, but I agree he could do a lot of things for us. Lets pull a Jaguars and make him the first DW, Defensive Weapon, position player ever!

I think that's one of the most interesting debates this offseason, should we groom him to be a def end and rush the passer 90% of the time, or should we use the entire skillset...

I think I would just teach him the game, then allow him to bring pressure from wherever the hell he feels like it..lol

He did. Last I read he was up around 270lbs. Just like those ends in Cinci play around.
