Most overrated/underrated players in Dolphins history

I don't know if I would peg Brown's problem as physical as much as he didnt have very good vision. There was a pretty stark difference watching him and Ricky, who managed to get by completely off of his vision late in his career. Brown got by simply because he could bail himself out with his start/stop ability and power. He could turn losses/stops at the line into 2-3 yard gains simply through ability. When he lost that he was done as a quality rusher because he put himself into too many of those situations.

 

he put a losing product on the field for 4 straight years and has pretty much become the laughingstock of all general managers in this league...I certainly wouldn't use the term underrated to decribe the guy.

 

There are factors which you fail to consider. They've been discussed ad nauseum, but they're real and as a result he's underrated.

 

Still whining about Ireland ? Do you even do anything else here bud ? So your saying a Sparano led team could be a winner if not for Ireland the laughing stock ? C'mon. Its apparent you arent aware of much going on outside this team if you think this. Tannenbaum ? AJ Smith ? Jerry Angelo? Guys who actually had talented rosters and spoiled them, clashed with coaches/owners/players etc...... your constantly bashing a guy that inherited the worst roster in the nfl and and was stuck with an incompentant coaching staff, putting all the blame solely on him.

He's definitley under-rated....all thanks to the media and the meatheads that live by it.
Glad someone brought him up.... he could end up being the most under-rated dolphin yet.

 

Every guy you mentioned had more success running their teams than Ireland will probably ever experience in his career.

 

And yet they all left their teams in a bad situation and were fired while Ireland is still employed as a GM.

Give it up! Ireland won!

 

lol well yea i can only imagine how frustrated they must feel after they were let go while a guy who disrespects players' families, curses at fans and finishes with a losing record every year still keeps his job
