I never want to see Murlarkey calling plays for the Dolphins again. That was an embarrassment.

Arthur Blank is a glutton for punishment. Allowing the hiring of Mularky, one of the worst play callers in the game, giving Matt Ryan Leaf a record breaking 75 million dollar contract. It seems he hasnt learned anything from last year.

I have been going nuts wondering how Mike Mularkey and Cam worrell were faring. Thank God for this article! Forget JT, these guys are where the real interest lies.

    ;)

Kidding, of course. Thanks for posting it, ATV. It amazes me to think about how crappily Mularkey ran an offense under Saban, and again caling plays under Cameron. He needs to just hit the "Ask Madden" button, in future.

Fuuny that a journalist could actually convince an editor to run this piece... yeah, for all the rabid Mike Mularkey and Cam Worrell fans who just can;t get their fill of those two.

I've tried to tell the Falcon fans here to prepare for the "Playbook of Doom" and the 1st overall pick next year. i really believe Blank wants the team to tank so he can get out of the Georgia Dome deal and build a stadium outside the perimeter closer to Gwinnett. No offensive line, a rookie QB, new head coach, unproven every down RB, recievers with bricks for hands, need I go on.

I advised Phin fans when Mularkey was hired that Mularkey was an awful play caller. Of course, few listened. All anyone had to do was look to his tenure with Barf and the boneheaded things he called such as slow developing halfback option passes on the 2 yard line.

He did ok with Pittsburgh, but they also had the personnel for gadget plays.

I, for one, would love to see him calling plays.

    For the Jets.

To be fair to Mularky he was shoe horned into calling someone else's playbook when he wasn't familiar with the ins and outs of it in his tenure at Miami, not a good position to be in. He should never have been hired in the first place, but after he was hired Saban and the Cameron had him trying to fit square pegs into round holes. The HC regimes he had in Miami made a bad situation much worse.
