lol, hold up. Swizz Beatz didn't do **** to Dr. Carter. It's a clean sample rip, all he did was loop it.

I am actually bumpin' this Plies album. Plies sucks, but he also amuses the hell out of me.

100 Years = funniest song in the history of music. Period.

 

Don't sleep on that J.R. Writer - Politics & Bull**** mixtape.

I'm feelin' it right now. He fell after Writer's Block 2, but he seems to be back in beast mode.

 

i haven't downloaded one mixtape or album from anyone in dipset in so long...i had the juelz one from like 3 years ago but i can't remember what its called

Eh i just got it. I gotta say I was really dissappointed. Aside from maybe 2 songs I think it was pretty bad. Not my style. I like Pharrel and a lot of his stuff but everything sounded like a rehash of "She wants to move" on this cd.

 

IM Glad the Carter 3 is selling good, i went and bought it on Tuesday even though i had already downloaded it. Its a very good CD. The only thing that keeps it from being great in my opinion is that i have heard half of the songs before, i mean thats not waynes fault though.

 

Yeah good CD. I only listen to like five songs though ( Phone Home, Tie My Hands, Misunderstood, Shoot Me Down and Playin with Fire)

I def had to give Wayne a break for awhile. Hopefully something else leaks soon.

 

Tons of **** will be leaking this summer. Wayne recorded hundreds of songs for the album, like 40% of them leaked, and then there's the album. Exaggerating slightly (maybe), but seriously, there's a ton of tracks that haven't been heard yet.........that are better than most songs on the album. I'm talking tracks produced by Dr. Dre, Just Blaze, The Runners, etc.

I don't like comfortable that much. As for Mr. Carter, I always somehow forget to listen to it but its a good song.

 

Damn, nice beat. Never heard of the song before. Do you by any chance know the name of some of those songs that didn't make the album? Would like to download them.

 

I really like 3 Peat, the first song off the Carter 3, probably my favorite song on the CD that i havent heard before it released

 

Yeah that's a good song, rarely listen to it though. Donno why.

I've listened to both a lot and I have to say that I prefer AG. It's just way more consistant and has fewer duds. As far as having 5/5 tracks I'd say their about even. Wayne just drops the ball here and there so I have to give it to J.

 

Tha Carter III sells over a million copies in its debut week. It's the first album to top the million mark since The Massacre, the highest debut in Wayne's career next to 238k with Tha Carter II, and it's the third highest debut for a Hip Hop album in the history of the industry. He recorded at least 3-4 more Kanye beats.

He recorded over a couple of Dr. Dre beats that didn't get cleared by Universal.

Wayne has said that he has an album's worth of tracks with Busta Rhymes, one will appear on "Blessed"

I know he received a CD with 5 tracks from The Runners, and none appeared on the album.

He's done an album's worth of songs produced by Streetrunner, but most were samples that didn't get cleared.

Wayne and Juelz have recorded at least two albums worth of songs over the last few years.

**** man, probably close to 100 unheard tracks that were recorded for this album. They'll leak out eventually. I know my boy Empire has about 10 of them that he's piecing together for another 'Drought Is Over' type of series. Lol yeah I guess. I've been caught up in the whole drafting thing going on in the Contest forum.

 

Lil' Wayne actually did it. Officially the 3rd highest debut for a rap album all-time (#1 Eminem - Marshall Mathers LP, #2 50 Cent - The Massacre), 11th highest debut for ANY album all time (all genres). Today is a great day for Hip Hop. Side note: Plies' chart success surprises me, but I guess people copped it as an extra with Tha Carter III.

N.E.R.D. flopped although it's a solid album to me.........

Damn Im suprised The Massacre has the #2 spot. Too bad the samples from the new g-unit album sounds like ****. I heard the N.E.R.D. album and wasnt feeling it.

 

I was surprised as well. G-Unit's music is garbage imo. 50 alone hasn't had a good album since his Get Rich or Die Tryin' one imo.

 

speakin of 50..no1 heard that tape of buck and 50 talking on the phone? i didn't bother downloading it but it basically exposes bucks drug problem and i guess he cries....50 says he didn't leak it but he secretly taped it so its still ****ed up by him...buck was down with gunit from 2003, and held it down imo for the last 3 years....oh well...i hope i can hear a game and buck collabo
