No love for 2002 Jamie Nails?

Only the greatest season we have seen by a Miami guard in 20 years and very instrumental in Ricky's big season. Wonder if anyone has a video of that block he made 35 yards down field keeping pace with Ricky at over 340lbs.

when i think of booker i always have to think about that san diego game when saban was HC and frerotte the QB. that pass where he escaped the rush and threw a beautiful strike to booker down the right sideline, it was more frerotte than booker but since he was on the receiving end of that pass i always remember him for that play

You and I frequently disagree in the Pofo Stringer, but I agree with you on this list. It just boggles my mind how many times Jay Fiedler is overlooked.

I did love Pennington (best - and only true - leader on the offense since Dan Marino). And, Lamar Smith, Nails for one year, Bush, were all very good for very brief times. Bush's best years as a pro were in Miami. Welker was clearly a very effective player with talent. Hard to know how good he would have been here with up and down QB play.

That a QB with a passer rating of 76 would even be considered as one of our top 10 offensive players since 2000 indicates how overall mediocre our offense has been during that time.
