Had an 18 month run where I was in Vegas every third weekend. Great city, but not sure I could live there.
If you are ever back in town, let me know! I used to live right by the strip when I went to UNLV. Campus was right there, near the hard rock hotel. I used to walk their to watch some of the hockey games. Now I life about 20 miles from the strip, henderson area.
Nothing beats watching Monday night football on the jumbo screen at The Orleans. .... or the off-menu steak & shrimp plate for $7.77 at Mr. Lucky's in the Hard Rock. ...or frozen margaritas at Palace Station. ...or having pool access to Rio & Mandalay Bay. ...or free drinks while playing nickel machines before you go out. ...or knowing people who get comps to shows. So many perks to living there full time if you don't blow paychecks on gambling.

then coming from UNLV you probably did your fair share of dollar beers at Ellis Island, unless you're not a drinker which is all good, too.

This is me over the course of the last year, really. Been working at Brinks, but I work inside...and I got a McDs, Wendy's, KFC, Subway, Jersey Mikes, Pizza Hut and Bk ALL Within 2 mile radius. Ridiculous. They are definitely screwing you. I work about 50 hours a week and average about $550 a week, and I'm not too thrilled with that either to be honest. Working those crazy hours and making that little is ridiculous. Also this. Been consuming fruits pretty consistently over last two months. Instead of a snack or an energy drink at work an apple or a Banana does wonders. yes. However there are some positives in being a smaller guy as a cop. Use of force is whole lot more justifiable when you are 5'6 130 trying to apprehend a 6'1 230 drunken *******. Taze away. A bigger guy may not get away with it as easily. Which is the still the longest win streak against a single opponent for any team, I think. Man I missed some stuff in this thread lol Finally put my PC together. It has been in the works for about 2 months now. Gonna upgrade my internet sometime this week and **** will get real lol Also, saw my ex last two weekends. We have a good time hanging out, but we are both hesitant about doing more than that. I think that's fine, IMO. We still greatly care for each other, and have a great time. I'm sure it will come to an unpleasent end at some point, but what the hell. We're young and we still care for each other and whatever happens, happens. amirite? As for measurements. I'm 5'8 205. Definitely gained some fat mass over this last year, but funny enough just don't see myself as a fat kid. Just not the 16 year old me with abs lines and all the bull**** Funny enough, I probably have better stamina now then when I was in high school, and I played all 3 seasons. I hate running, that's why I could never do just a regular 5k run. But mud races, i love that stuff. Have done 3 in over a year and a half span and want to do two more this year. They varie from 4-7 miles, but I enjoy them because of the obstacles. That's why I don't mind training up to them IMO
Well its been fun Florida, but I think I am putting my two weeks in this weekend. and go home June 16th. I have to talk to my roommate about it, but rent is paid for the last month anyway, and Ill give her the utilities and such. I am not going to work 54 hrs a week for $7.40 an hr. Not worth it. Especially when this other job is 40hrs a week $12.50, plus overtime opportunity.
I will be in Vegas for a wedding December 2014....my uncle (who is the groom, i am a groomsmen) is stationed in the air force there, so he will have plenty of advice and what-not for me. My wife and I are going to make a vacation out of it.
I'm a sous chef at a kitchen in boca. Hate the hrs/pay and my brother in law got me a job as security down town Las Vegas which has better hrs/pay. I'll be back here one day though. I really enjoyed my time here. I got to go to fin fest, be in a dolphins commercial. Just wish I could have caught a game. Next year I'm gonna try to though! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Put in my two weeks yesterday. My boss offered to match my offer I was getting in Vegas, I told him it was to late. I was pissed too because he low balled me to begin with and now he wanted to give me the money I should have been getting in the first place? He is not going to get anyone to do my job for that little amount of money, and he knows it.
I've been to Iowa. luckily my car had enough gas so I didn't have to stop in Iowa. and I almost never buy beer anymore. the alcohol tax is so damn expensive here in MA that I started homebrewing again. Always have a healthy 5 gallon keg in my kegerator in my basement.

Life of a dental student: 4 exams in 3 days. I studied my balls off for a Host Defense (Immunology) exam and got 31/33 (93.9%). Check out the exam statistics... average. Don't get me wrong I love my classmates and wish them the best, but it pisses me off how smart everyone is.

Well, I think its finally, really over with the other girl. It was so hard to do, but I had to get her out of my head. I honestly wonder if I wasnt falling in love with her. But I guess this is what is best. Especially for my 2 little girls.
It's good you ended things with the girl but honestly you should really think about if its worth staying with your wife. It's not good to stay together just for the kids because its going to end up in resentment and hate down the line and in the long run its going to be worse for your girls.
