Its not every tournament all the time. yesterday they showed every shot practically up to the 11th approach shot. Then they didnt show another until he birdied 13. When he is leading they will follow him if he goes to the bathroom. I get that. But if he is not in contention they shouldnt show him at all. Keep an eye on this today. Watch how much time they spend on his preshot routine and highlights vs other players.
I go to his tournament (a charitable event where proceeds go to his Tiger Woods Foundation) every year out here in Thousand Oaks, if I hated him, do you think I'd spend one dime going towards his charity?
This. They only play every shot of the guys in the top of the leader board. I watched all of the coverage yesterday and found myself getting pissed because they didn't show enough Tiger. It seems like if he isn't moving up or down the leader board then they don't show much of him. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
You guys are jealous it's not you...
I know. I can't stand soccer. You should see some of these dads out there. Comical. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
Yeah I saw it last year when my son was 2. Another dad got mad at me cuz my kid was screaming in another kids face taunting him. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
wait till the kids get older. Every year gets more and more competitive. And then they start counting wins and losses.
Happy for Adam Scott after what he went thru last July. That was some finish on 18. It looked like it was going to fizzle out prior to 18... A shame someone had to lose it.
i can't get this highlight music out of my head... I need to get it on my phone as a ring tone.... this music makes me want to go out run a marathon.
meh... I think they are okay as long as you don't anchor them. Which when you take that away, they become obsolete anyway lol...
tiger... up to his old tricks poor sergio... .. I'm thinking of making this the anti Tiger Woods thread... ...
btw, tiger absolutely knew Sergio hadn't hit yet... his caddy also knew, that's why he wasn't ready for Tiger to take a club out (he has his hand over the clubs in the bag). Tiger... great player... horrible sportsmanship.
Did you hear the crowd roar on this one.
yeah... lol... tiger fans are the loudest most obnoxious group of people... When tiger walks up to the 17th green (just before Sergio hits his shot there) there was plenty of people not clapping for him behind the green.
I'm a fan of Tiger, and I had a good time ROFLing when watching Sergio implode, but after seeing this I can't help but think Tiger is a cheater. http://youtu.be/B5SL57mef4E Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
^^ LOL ok, obviously these 2 guys know nothing about the rules of golf Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
What are the rules? Tiger and the rules officials don't have the luxury of aerial video feeds. If you play golf you know it's often hard to determine where exactly the ball went out. Everyone is making a guess as to where it exactly went out. You could do this for every player and make him look bad.
http://www.usga.org/Rule-Books/Rules-of-Golf/Rule-26/ You don't need video feeds when you are teeing off OVER a water hazard towards the fairway. You can clearly see your ball flight. The water hazard starts right in front of what looks like the ladies tees. His ball CLEARLY crosses the hazard right at the sawgrass in front of that tee box. This link explains his options as to where he could play his next shot from: http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/golf-...improper-drop-en-route-players-124525467.html And to answer Nappy's question. I do know MOST of the rules of golf. As anyone who has ever looked up the USGA rule book tell you, they are the most complicated rules to ever try and understand and memorize. Most golfers carry a rule book with them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Well I am almost 100% sure that Tiger doesn't choose his drop, his opponent does. That's why in the video you can see him pointing and asking where he is dropping.
