You think Wallace and Hartline are better in the slot than outside? In the Pittsburgh games I saw, I don't recall Wallace playing slot receiver. Hartline played it very little. What are you basing this on?

Well I know Wallace didn't play much slot. But that was more due to the fact that Steelers receiving core is littered with slot guys. One of Wallaces biggest problems is getting off the press. Hes quick and his long speed, so while I think he is probably better on the outside, getting that free release on the inside with ability after the catch up the seam he would be fine in the slot.

Hartline is just a big slot receiver IMO. Hes quick and has really good feet, reliable hands, not great top end speed, not great after the catch. I watch him and I think Hartline's prime position would be slot personally. Not saying hes a bad outside guy.

I don't hunk Hartline can play in the slot with any type of consistency, I don't think he's strong enough or stout enough, he's the definition of a finesse player who excels at working his deception on the perimeter, you have to be physically strong to play inside or the ball is gonna get knocked loose.
