Why y'all mad Lebron can't win a ring playing a regular schedule? Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
I just want to congratulate you... you guys might actually win a playoff series this year. That'd be some HUGE growth!
Speaking of Chicago, can anybody explain to me why on Earth the Hawks tanked their last two games to get the 6th seed? Completely illogical. You're telling me the Hawks would rather be the 6th seed and get killed by Indiana rather than be the 5th seed with a puncher's chance to beat the Nets? And they did this because they're worried about the Heat in the 2nd round? Crazy
You know what's funny? I really had NO idea you were a Heat fan. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
I recall one of you peasents trying to dismiss the Knicks 99 finals team for it being a shortened season. I don't remember wich one you it was ....but the irony is you likely are defending the Heat and a similar situation last year. You guy's are a special group. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
So somebody said something that you vaguely remember..so you assign it to me, so you can say that my "defense" of the Heat winning under very difficult circumstances is "ironic". Uh..what? All I ever said about that team is that those Knicks were a "fake" #8 seed. That team was injured and was more like a #2 or #1 seed that limped to the playoffs and then got healthy.
Timmy played 5 years in Golden State. 6 years in Miami. He made more all-star appearances as a Heat. He got his number retired by the Heat. He has said that if/when elected to the Hall of Fame, that he will go in as a Miami Heat, and he is currently employed by the Team. He is a Miami Heat.
It is crazy, but honestly I don't think there is such a huge gap between ANY of teams 2-7 that there COULDNT be an upset. Though it would take a combination of great play and some mediocre play from Indiana. Well to be fair I can't see the Knicks losing, if it weren't for history they wouldnt be part of the list and it would read 3-6.
Well you should ship now before you use it all with Imeister Yeah I do. Mods can have a little fun too. Good because this year: A) You lost to the Knicks without Melo. B) Melo dropped 50 on you. Lebron or no Lebron this was impressive. C) JR Smith is playing the best ball of his career. If he continues averaging 24 a game and getting to the foul line a lot we are going to have a hell of a fun series...which I hope you lose At least drop some Tone Loc for us since thats Woodsons abandoned brother (has to be, the voice is an uncanny match)? No one else can. The Knicks and Spurs are the only 2 teams with a chance to knock you off. They match up better then anyone else. Id want OKC to win but unless Westbrook plays the role of distributor, unlikely, I dont see it. I still have a Timmy Hardaway GSW jersey. I must have been like 14. That crossover was nasty. Actually he played 5 full years for each team and the year he was dealt to Miami he played 52 games for GSW and 28 for Miami. So he played more games as a GSW and therefore would probably go in the HOF as GSW if games played is a deciding factor as it is in baseball. http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/h/hardati01.html
this vid is very good playoff promo
Its a damn shame Jason Terry never lived to see his team make the playoffs this year. It has been a month since he passed away. March 18th, 2013. Nevar Forget.
Okay..you want precise? He played equal time for each franchise. he was hired as a player liaison in 2009, rehired in 2010 after his controversy, then bailed out of a IRS jam by the Heat. HE is a MIAMI ****ING HEAT. So I count 5 1/2 years with Golden State, 9 Years (and counting) with the Miami Heat.
We also lost to the Wizards. Big F'n Deal. Want a banner for a short handed win? We also won 66 games. remember? Melo dropped 50. On Haslem, Battier, Mike Miller, the ghost of Keith Askins, Willie Burton, and a friend of mine that was at the game that guarded him for 2 possessions. Nah..not that impressive considering the circumstances. JR Smith is terrible. Not much else needs to be said there.
Ahhhhh, so having like a 5% chance of beating The Heat in a seven game series is the boiling point for talking smack. Gotcha
The only 2 Knicks fans here don't needle you guys at times because we really believe NY will beat Miami....we do it because its fun too debate anything with your group that in any way shape or form doesn't praise Miami. Because you guys act so ridiculous doing it, it makes for some fine entertainment. We are dillusional, hating, trolling Knicks fans the second we question anything that puts Miami on a pedestal. You hate New Yorkers and it shows like Phinsationals wife 5 minutes after he leaves the trailer for work, you claim too have the greatest team on the planet....yet a lot of you are still so angry. With the recent events in this country I invite you guys too come on out, rid yourself of the hate and anger of our nations capital(insert Heat fan claiming the Statue of Liberty should be somewhere off A1-A) and embrace life.
I actually love New Yorkers. They spend a lot of money in this town. I just want them to leave once they hand over their cash. BTW, today we shot our NBA preview, and it was a helluva show. I got fed so much NBA gossip that I am dying to blurt it all out...but I can't. I really can't. I'll drop one strong hint. Things really suck in Cleveland.
But. But Lebron is dying to come back there so he can win a title with Uncle Drew! Oh wait, thats not going to happen ever.
It's about Mike Brown isn't it? I absolutely loved hearing that since it was basically Cleveland running up the white flag in the LBJ hunt. Which means my and my kid's James jerseys will be useful for a few more years
I took it to mean Kyrie is none too happy with Cleveland. I mean what other real chips does that organization have right now?
Cleveland rehiring Mike Brown is amongst the most ridiculous, ill conceived coaching decisions I've ever seen. Not only is the guy not a good coach, but you are rushing to hire him because you're worried that he will attract other inetrest. Seriously, the Cavs are cocnerned that multiple teams will be beating Mike Brown's door down. It's a complete overreaction to what the Cavs did poorly (play defense) without any concern over what he'll do tot eh offense, or what affect his presence will have on future free agents. Imagine the pitch, "this guy couldn't make it happen with LBJ, Kobe, Dwight Howard, Steve Nash and Pau Gasol, but he's perfect for us"
And that is exactly why I would be downright stunned if it actually happened. This seems like a purely media driven thing, just like the Lebron back to Cleveland in 2014 thing.
In a round about way....yes. I actually got confirmation for half of what you told me and some additional nuggets as well.
Well, we'll see. I feel for you if it does happen. Not sure why Cavs wouldn't consider a Brian Shaw type. Unlikely to get a big name. In fact, Brown is probably the biggest "name" they could get.
Lakers pick turns out to be #19 after tiebreakers. So Ramon Sessions got us a 1st rounder and a move up of 11 spots from 30 to 19.
