Knicks loss actually helps them. Want to keep them locked in that 5 seed this way when they beat the Nets they will have a good physical series with miami. Truth be told theyre the only team I feel the Knicks would not beat, Rose or no Rose, under just about any condition. They match up horribly with them. Not just bad, atrocious. They fought tonight and they were shorthanded so I give the guys that were playing credit. Thats also not saying that they will beat Miami...they will be underdogs should they get to the ECF.
Too funny, first off night he has in 2 weeks n now he is selfish and costing the Knicks games. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
huh? He has been selfish for years. I am just saying that he has been especially selfish the last few games...and yesterday..he was selfish to the point where he lost you the game.
Regular season doesn't matter remember....even if Carmelo being selfish cost them a game against the Bulls, who cares? They are also going to be the 2 seed, are the Atlantic division champs and are 3-1 against the best team to ever step on a court. I have no complaints.
In one breath..you say the reg. season doesn't matter....then you mention that they are the 2 seed, and are 3-1 vs. god's gift to basketball. anyway....my point is that it does (matter) when it creates habits that roll on over to the postseason. (Melo been out of 1st round once in career.) oh..and....you are 0-4 vs. the worst offensive team in the history of round bouncing projectiles.
IMO, they will. The Nyets are not a good team. Iso Joe and co is getting locked up. Selfish Carmelo with a slow night at the office tonight. Only 31. Going to drag him down from his 39.8 scoring average in April. (best ever for 6 straight April games by the way). 12/24 too. Mighty efficient. Luckily JR was even more efficient with 13/16. Love when Carmelo goes for 14 rebounds after 19 the night before when hes playing vs players 3-4 inches taller.
Ugh. Lakers pull out the much needed W after the Jazz win. However, Kobe goes out with 3 mins left and they fear he has a torn achilles (he did seem to go down in a heap with minimal contact, but still pulled out the FTs). Not sure Lakers can get to their magic number of 2 (any combination of 2 wins, a win and a jazz loss, or 2 losses from jazz) without Kobe.
Tyler Zeller doesn't count, he can't box out freaking Will Bynum. He's the only cavs player who saw the floor that's 3-4" taller than Melo. Gee (who is an ok rebounder at best IMO and is shorter than Melo) was on Carmelo most of the game, when Knicks were on offense, and that's where half his rebounds came from. I don't want to take away from his game because no one could stop him or JR (even when there was decent defense), but aside from TT, we don't have good rebounders most nights.
Nope. Just like I'm sure you won't pretend Lebron selfishly screwed over his hometown team, while Melo did everything he could to not leave Denver high and dry when he left. Run tell that. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
You mean ***** and moan that he wanted out? Cool. Got it. Also, Cleveland got nothing out of the sign-and-trade. Nothing. Absolutely nothing.
I just hope the supporting cast of the Knicks doesnt die of old age by the time they play the Heaters in the ECF.
He was cool enough too let it be known he was out after the season. Maybe Lebron was truely torn, I don't know. And most NBA superstars are selfish, it just so happens the Heat are lucky enough not to have one. Again it's hard for me too have a problem with anything Melo has done the past 4 weeks.
I hope Battier and Mike Miller get abducted by some Miami based NY mafia guys. Those are the little annoying bastards that make the difference more often than not.
Well..not a superstar...but Norris Cole is selfish in the sense that he is gonna shoot no matter who is on the court.
All of a sudden..the Pacers look like absolute trash. That is why you can;t really make your analysis about these last few games. Nobody knows ****. The playoffs are different, and offer many surprises. That goes for the Heat as well. Right now it looks like the Heat and Knicks have free passes to the ECF's. there will be twists and turns. It's what makes the NBA playoffs so great.
grizz are gonna beat LAC bringing CP3 to NYK in the off season when CP3 realizes just how overrated Blake and co are.
Wish I had the same confidence in the Knicks. Although iam a little more optimistic do to the way JR and Felton are attacking the rim. Still waiting for Steve Novak to find whatever it is he's looking for.
