http://www.philly.com/philly/blogs/...onducts-interview-from-job-at-drive-thru.html Works in a drive-thru convenience store in Ohio during the offseason. Nice to see he's got a life planned after football! Of course, he does own the store.
Good for him. Despite all the mockery and dissection of his game, he still seems like a humble and good guy..
Yes, it's a good interview. Sounds like a guy who's keeping his feet on the ground and knows what's important in life.
Drive thru's are huge business in Ohio. I live in a town of only 15k and we have at least 8 of them. You can buy beer, chips, pop, smokes. He'll probably end up owning a chain of them.
I just grew a man crush for the guy...and its really got nothing to do with football. Its cool to read that someone who has the finances he does...is still willing to roll up his sleeves like the rest of us.
Glad to see Hartline planning ahead. Also glad to see a guy with millions doing some work. I grew up in OH, but I have lived in Los Angeles for longer than I lived there. Whenever I go back and see a drive thru, I laugh at the idea. "I really want some beer, but I don't want to get out of my car."
Your title undersells the owning aspect. You should have stated owns and operates a convenience store.
I just like the fact he gave us a list of the type of things available at....oh what was it again....convenience store...whatever that is....
The best part about going to grad school at USF was the drive through beer barn. Of course being sober enough to drive through was the hard part.
yeah heard him on Lebatard yesterday doing te interview from the store. I like him he's a pretty funny dude. Goes back to when I had a conversation with him back on New Years, a nice, respectful and humble guy.
That is the most awesome, coolest thing I have seen today. Thanks. gonna go check out Strangemaps for more. I love consumer type data.
Good for Brian. He's being smart and planning for the future. I've always liked this dude, as a person. Sure he's not the most awesome football player, but he is a standup dude, and always can be counted on to represent the Miami Dolphins well.
I know that obvious guy is obvious, but anybody with Hartline's money can own a convenience store. I'm more impressed with the fact that he works there. I'd actually be more impressed if he worked there and DIDN'T own it, but that would probably land Hartline's picture on the cover of the DSM-5.
I gained a lot more respect for him after he called out mando in his post signing presser. This is just as funny. And too simple to be clever. What better investment can you make than to start a Business using your new nfl popularity as advertising ?
