I think Martin was the plan all along if Jake decided to walk. Glad they were thinking ahead. Why? Edit: I think it's just a matter of time for Jake to sign with St. Louis.
Cool..I'm in a bad mood, and it has a lot to do with how I feel about two things, letting Jake go if he's healthy, and thinking Martin will be the savior.

We've historically found the media outlet "reporting" the Long deal to be incredibly specious and unreliable, so we hesitated to post it. Upon further inspection by reliable reporters like the Post-Dispatch's Jim Thomas and NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, no deal is done. Long is still undergoing his physical, and according to Thomas the Rams and Long "haven't even discussed 'terms.'"
