I've heard you say a couple times that they're interested in Austin. Just curious where you heard that?
I'm thinking they may already have a hard on for a guy they have a plan in place for to where it wouldn't matter if Milliner is there.
This would be a great idea. More explosive than Lacy (I like Lacy alot, but more of a bellcow) and some consider Bernard the #1 RB in the draft. Austin at #12 is what this smells like. I, personally, would love to see Lotulelei at #12 if he drops and checks out medically to replace Soliai if we do not resign next year or help in a rotation. If not Lotulelei, then Warmack who would likely drop now that TEN signed Levitre. If we take Austin, then I would just laugh at Belichick scratching his head with how to deal with Austin, Wallace, Miller, etc with his secondary lolol.
Well if hes there on draft day and they pass these forums should be interesting to read cant see a better way for us to fix our db hole atm
I'm not necessarily disagreeing with you, but Ireland addressing a specific plan (like finishing the offense and relieving pressure from Wallace by adding a speedster from the slot like Tavon) might have more value to Jeff, especially when the drop off from Milliner to the 2nd tier corners might not be as steep as we currently perceive it to be. His poor hands at the combine and how easily he let himself get frustrated b/c of it was a little concerning IMO.
He says intriguing? lotulelie # 12 move up for Efeirt CB banks in one of our seconds.... Pending we use the other to move up up also bring jake back for a discount I hope... maybe Justin hunter will be there in the 3rd or Robert woods
Anthony Spencer to replace Misi, huh? That'd be interesting. Would think Barwin would be cheaper and about as effective.
Dont think Ware would be available for a 2nd..... and seriously doubt Dallas would give him up w/o a gun to their nuts.
No way would I move up for milliner when Trufant is really good, I wouldn't take milliner in a lot of scenarios. I'm not spending my 12 th pick on a damn corner, we need young vets there, eiffert or Austin if its offense, been that way for a long time
Give it a shot, I'm a former running back - and I'm white. Physical intimidation may not be the best way to scare me.
Release the new logo at the end of the week....ride the mo until it runs out! I'd have an intro at the stadium with the Cocaine Cowboys talking about all the money they used to move in South Florida in the 80s and chop it up to make it seem like they were moving Free Agents! But thats just the goon in me! Uhhh.....deuces?
I disagree with your analysis on Bernard and lacy, Bernard is not top 5 for me in this draft, think he's a very poor mans version of spoiles, don't see him as a 2nd round pick..
The only 2 teams I can think of that Miami attempted trades with in the last several years and Failed to complete were with 1) Philly and 2) Denver. So my guess a trade for Dumervil could have been what CON was referring too. I agree IF Dumervil was playing in Miami at RDE, OMG!!! It be like a speed drill with Wake and Dumervil at DE.
Gritty, fast (4.41 forty time)....strong. When I had two good knees. I'm actually portuguese, so I have a "lick of the tar brush" somewhere down the line. That phrase is common down here so pardon me it if offends anyone. My wife is mixed and she uses it all the time.
