Today and a few of my friends wend to Turning Stone, a gambling resort, where you only have to be 18 to gamble. Its about 3 hours near where i live. I don't know exactly where it is but anyway i played at the poker tables. At first i was doing great...my luck soon changed and i was down 20. I bought more chips and at the end i was down $100. I bought 20 more chips for the poker table. There was a big pot and i was down to me and another guy. I had ace and 6 of heats with a flush and straight draw. I make a bet, im all in, i lose im out $120...i win i can start to make some of it back...next card...5 of spades...missed the flush, got the straight...i tun over, thought i had the straight, but only had it to the 7, my opponent had it to the 8...also he had no flush draw so i was surprised he was still in the pot...

Now im down $120...i have 20 left and i don't to lose to much so i was down if i lost that. I go play roulette...i get $20 in 1's and its a max of $5 bet, i decide to bet 10 chips randomly on numbers and see what happens...i hit it...win $35... i decide to continue doing this and i hit again... i soon get up to $120 and im only out $20 of the night so i cash out...plus the lady who was in charge of the station moved so i left...then i just said let me just leave here with $100 even. just out $40 so i play that 20 agian and get up to $140 so now i broke even...as i was going to cash out the lade came back so i stayed and played. I ended up winning $200 even and made $60 on the night...not a huge winner, but compared to what i had lost im pretty happy with it!

Shoot, that isn't far from where I live, 30 minutes or so. Turning Stone is in Vernon and it's a pretty decent casino, my cousin works there and gives me free food (always knew he was good for something). They just busted some hookers there, you weren't one of the Johns picking up business cards in the restroom, were you?

nope, lucky for me the cops got to them before i could!

the food there i thought was great. Its only 10$ for lunch and with every hr you play at the poker table or slots you get 1$ off your meal if you a diamond card, which anyone could get. My friend, who's been there before got his meal for only 1$...its pretty good deal.

I played roulette for the first time when I was in Vegas last month and had a great time. It's a really laid back game and I ended up winning about 400$. I usually play video poker at the bar and dont spend much time at the tables. But when you're with a group of friends the tables can be a lot of fun. Glad you had a good time. Just wait a couple of years when you can experience Vegas. It's an unreal place. I could easily see myself getting addicted to that life style and becoming a degenerate drinker/gambler if I let it happen, lol.

The Herkimer/Utica area. Pretty much dead center of the state.
