If you have two electric guys like Harvin and Reggie Bush, you are paid six to seven figures to make the offense suit them. Not the other way around. Reggie may work out of the slot more often, I don't really care what it looks like. Plus, for the hell of it, Harvin on kickoffs and Bush on punt return. I for one am not ready to anoint Lamar Miller the bell cow just yet.
The plan is: Move martin to left tackle exploit the great chemistry of Tannehill to Bess and Hartline Scrap the secondary Go with young running backs Sounds like a winner to me.
For a split second I thought, my God, Jeff Ireland has a thephins account and just shared his master plan with us
Harvin fits, and I'm sorry, but Reggie Bush is not a player that you abandon your proven philosophy to build a system around.
Just a reminder to those who eternally doubt the front office : most were wrong about yeremiah bell and reshad jones last year. Most were wrong about ronnie and reggie before that. So don't be surprised when miller replaces bush and it works out as planned. Bush just may fade off into the california sunset sooner than you think.... 1000 yards next year ? no, never again. Invest heavily in a limited older RB and sign up of for disaster. We have to improve the running game from last year, not waste time and $ squeezing every last drop from Reg. I'd love to get him back on the cheap, but another team like Detroit will dangle the keys in his face, and give him some cash. Good luck reg, they don't play buffalo and oakland quite as much.
The only way I would want Harvin on this team is with an incentive laden contract. And there would have to stipulations about not behaving like my 4-year-old daughter.
