Not the most exciting draft. People will hate Austin at 12, but I've been thinking about it and if the Dolphins truly are targeting Mike Wallace and they miss out on him, I would bet quite a bit of money that they draft Austin at 12.

Another mock draft where Werner fell to our pick. I probably would have taken Werner over Austin there, but if I took Austin, I would have come back with Carradine at 2a. Either way I still would have taken Bailey at 2b and looked at one of Shamarko Thomas or Cyprien (S) in the 3rd.

This is like a Jekyl and Hyde GM was picking, alternating picks I hate with picks I like.

    Austin at 12? Terrible overdrafting.

    Margus Hunt? Terrible choice, period.

Banks is a good value at that spot and good pickup. Washington may be a round too early but a good pick.

I would LOVE Austin at 12 regardless of whether or not we sign Wallace.

Wallace and Hartline with Austin in the slot sounds pretty damned good to me.

Jennings and Bailey and Austin in the slot sounds even better.

I would agree, but it sounds like Hartline returning is a foregone conclusion. I'd consider Jennings a more logical choice too, but if we sign Wallace, I won't question it and believe Philbin is in complete approval.

Jennings, Hartline and Austin in the slot with Bailey comming off the bench sounds much better.

I believe Bailey can do everything Hartline can do, but quicker, faster and more dynamically.

Hartline is actually faster in a straight line than Bailey. I also like Hartline's body control more than Bailey's.

Bailey has an insane sense of balance though. Guy just rips through tacklers, and has some of the greatest hands for shoulder catches. Speaks volumes of his hand eye coordination. I really love Bailey in the 3rd, if he's available. He'd be an upgrade from Bess in this offense IMO. Bess is a lot like Bailey but he doesn't have the YAC ability Bailey does, nor does he have the deep ability.

I believe counting on two rookies is a recipe for disaster. First season Bailey would just be grasping the offense and would be a triumph if he gets it down enough to be a factor in the 2nd half of the season.

I love Bailey, he's my favorite WR in this draft, and I believe he can become a true #1, but I doubt that he would be better than Hartline this season.

I hate this draft minus the Banks pick. Reaching for Austin at 12 especially if Werner is there. Completely random picks except for the Banks pick again.

Very good draft. But no redzone threats.

that is the worst mock draft that I have seen .

Austin at 12 is a reach on a player that is not going to last very long in the NFL. I am sorry but you dont draft 175 pound players in the first round…
Banks… I dont want any more soft players on the Fins… I want physical players and that is NOT Banks.
Hunt… Dont know anything about him
Washington is a reach in the third round
Bahktairi is the only pick I would be on board with

Wallace, Hartline, and Austin would be a pretty dangerous WR corps and ideally they also add a TE. I'm still not sure exactly what I think of Austin. The upside is obviously huge, but I wonder if he's a specialty player. The reason I say I'd bet they take him 12 if they miss on Wallace isn't that they're similar players, but that they bring the ability to score on any touch and I think that's what is so attractive to them about Wallace. It depends on what they do in FA, but I think there are other places I'd rather go at 12 if Wallace is on board.

Switch out Austin with Patterson, and I can live with it.

Can you imagine the speed we would have IF...................we sign Wallace and draft Austin? WOW, what a problem for the opposing D.
Patterson has more ? marks than Austin so I would be fine with Austin at 12.
Most everyone out there say this draft has, maybe 10 guys that are above the rest, and then the next 45+or -, or so are about the same. If you believe this, how is drafting Austin at 12 over drafting him? He definitely belongs in the 2nd tier players, and has to be in the top of that group, if there is a top. Also, if he is a player you are targeting, and you KNOW he wont be available at our 2 rd pick, why would you NOT draft him when you can. If you aren't targeting him, OK, I get that, but................
