Disagree theres 3 major problems with what youre saying. 1. He cant do it night in an night out like those other guys do. They may not be all star types but theyre better then Mario because they have shown they can dow it every game. 2. Rio like you said does it when hes asked to. Thats the very definition of a role player...someone who can sit in the background until hes asked to do more but he cant do it regularly. 3. Hes the fourth option on that team as opposed to those other guys being 2nd or 3rd options. That means teams arent taking him nearly as seriously. Theyre not going out of their way putting their best or second best perimeter defender on Mario (partially because they cant, partially because they shouldnt). I would unconditionally take every single one of those players over Chalmers and I wouldnt think twice about it. Those guys in the role Chalmers players would be even better at it.

A big game player doesnt mean hes a better player for an 82 game season bro. It means that in a big spot youd rather have him. And I wouldnt argue that because he has experience in big spots which some of the guys I listed dont. But for an 82 game season and who the better player is overall I would take any of the players I listed.

Melo seems to have the worst luck with injuries where nobody gives a ****. Recall that instance where he passed out on the court and they just resumed like nothing happened for like 2 minutes. The latest one is just a case of dumb coaching.
One hell of an ugly knick win. Felton (despite all his TO's), JR (despite crappy shooting), and Amare basically carried this team tonight. Defense was excellent vs a Monroe and Drummond-less Pistons. Ugly but its a W. Melo is a maybe for OKC tomorrow after sitting tonight out. Woodson now 55-27 as HC. Not bad but needs to be more innovative offensively.
And the Lakers come back to win with a 20-0 run after being down like 18 at halftime. Glad they won, since the Cavs rewarded them earlier with a win over the Jazz.
