Tyrann Mathieu is not talented enough to warrant the kind of mental gymnastics going on in this thread. Hell, he doesn't even deserve a nickname as awesome as Honey Badger. I hereby dub him Munchies. So can we stop talking about Munchies and more about Abraham? Because he's a perfect target for a 2 year deal, and I'd love to see him make Jake Long better.
Ill be honest - I don't believe him. I just don't think he's being honest. I don't think you can depend on him, and as a result you can't risk investing much in him.
I'll pass on all of Atlanta's cast offs. What I do like is how teams are struggling to create cap space and the FA market is continuing to grow. It's going to be a buyers market and we just happen to be one of the few teams who can afford to take full advantage.
Interested in Abraham and Robinson, at the right price. While getting a stud DE at #12 would be nice, we could put off CB and DE as serious (first round) needs by signing these guys and then go BPA in the first -or trade down and get the best WR/TE left.
It's....like... I...don't....have.. to.. post....... Anyway, was just thinking about what a fruitful market it will be.... And we were tight last year when there wasn't half the "names" available. As for the 3 x-falcons... It's just good to see another cb,de,&rb on the market... We need one of each.
I think Michael Turner warrants a bit of consideration. I don't think you really care about chronological age so much as you do carries, and I'm not sure 1,600 is where you stick a fork in a back. Steven Jackson is sitting at 2,395 right now. Frank Gore is at 1,911, Willis McGahee is at 1,957. Those are some of his chronological peers. It's also worth noting the Falcons were able to release him as part of a failed physical(Suggesting he may have been injured), and that Jacquizz Rodgers also did sweet **** all in terms of yards per carry this year. If the Dolphins are confident in Miller, they're in a position where they can gamble on a second back and come up with a big win if they hit, and not be too badly hurt if they don't.
I'm hoping DeAngelo Williams hits the market too. That'd drop the price for Bradshaw, Turner and Steven Jackson. All four would be quality backups/insurance for Miller. If we can get one of those guys for 4 million or less I'd be all over it.
