He can be a good player, not denying that... but injuries take it's toll and when you're on your third ACL injury... that's a pretty big red flag, IMO, especially as a cornerback. I do like Terrell Thomas, don't get me wrong. I signed him to my team last season but he's a huge injury risk, man... not worthy of being a top 2 cut free agent, IMO.
I wouldn't trade Wake for the 8th overall pick. Wake is hands down one of the best pass rushers in the league. Imagine if he had someone just as skilled opposite of him. I'd want a first, player/pick.

You're assuming a lot of things but whatever. Pete has veto power over any personnel move that is made; as do I. We don't make any moves unless we're in full agreement. Maybe it doesn't appear to be like that to you on the surface, but that is how it works for us.
I know... but you cannot deny he is quite the injury risk. I know the talent is there but at what cost? I paid $4.0M last year for Thomas and thought it was a great deal if he could come back from his injury. I don't think I could justify spending even one quarter of that considering the risk of his third ACL injury.
